Exciting news from CureFest!!!
Hello Lionhearts! I got some very exciting news yesterday. We have been working very hard on our crane project and I messaged a few organizations to see about getting them to Washington, D.C. In September. This is the response I got from Cure Fest.
Deena -- We had a planning conference call tonight and your 1000 cranes came up. Everyone loved the idea! We are going to dispaly your framed cranes in a place of prominence at CureFest. We were even inspired to join in!! We are going to set up a place for people to make paper cranes. We thought we'd have the supplies and ask people to write a wish on their paper before making it into a crane!
The question came up... what could we then DO with all the cranes that are made? We wondered if your foundation would want them? Or if we should give them to clinics and children's hospitals? Also, after CureFest, do you want us to ship your framed cranes back to you??
