Day 2 - Cat

(Description: Golden Ticket

An ornate ticked emblazoned with shimmering gold leaf. The ticket bears the image of a cat and the name "The Ninth Life." When it catches the light, the cat almost seems to move.

Those who come into possession of a Golden Ticket are given the opportunity to enter The Ninth Life Lounge: an exclusive fey speakeasy usually inaccessible by mortals. Inside the Ninth Life Lounge, patrons can purchase special drinks that can do everything from granting great wealth, youth an vigor or immense magical power.

When torn, The Golden Ticket transforms into a shimmering golden cat that leads you to an entrance to the Ninth Life Lounge.

Curiotober day 2 - Moon

(Description: A strange, spherical contraption who's face can be changed to reflect a different moon. It grants it's bearer access to a long-forgotten form of magic.

Pocket moons were once a common tool for mages who specialized in lunamancy. However, the actions of a powerful dark mage swiftly changed the public perception of lunamancy. Instruments of lunamancy were tracked down and destroyed and the magical art became lost to time.

The face of the pocket moon can be changed to reflect up to four different phases of the moon. Each lunar phase grants the bearer access to different abilities, and rarer moons such as lunar eclipses and blood moons can grant more powerful abilities.

Curiotober Day 1 - Spider

(Description: Phaseglass Monocle. Crafted from a rare material called phaseglass, this monocle allows the wearer to see the unseen and step into the mists between worlds. While the history of this object is unknown, it appears to be crafted in the image of an ancient entity once prophesized to bring about the end of the world. The prophecy has long since fallen into obscurity, and many assume the entity has been slain, if it ever existed at all.

Day 8 - Potions

(Description: Alchemist's Horn

A surprisingly heavy potion bottle wrapped in lead with an iron stopper carved in the shape of a tusked minotaur. The bottle and the minotaur's golden horns are both engraved with alchemical symbols.

Crafted by the minotaur saint of alchemy, the Alchemist's Horn has been studied by scholars and potion-crafters for centuries in hopes of uncovering its secrets. The Horn remains stubbornly inscrutable however, its unpredictable nature leading many an overconfident collector to ruin.

Every dawn, the Alchemist's Horn contains a new random potion. It is impossible to discern the nature of the potion until it is drunk.

Day 6 - Eyes

(Description: Eye of Mystery

A glass eye engraved with arcane runes and set into a leather eyepatch. The eye gives off a faint glow and when worn, twitches and moves on its own volition.

The Eye of Mystery was crafted by a powerful yet paranoid wizard who engraved his secrets upon the very flesh of the world. Though the wiard and his name have been devoured by the hungry maw of history, those who wear the eye will see all manner of secrets and mysteries revealed to them.

When worn, the Eye of Mystery reveales secret doors, hidden treasures, and very rarely, the insights of the wizard himself.

(written in conspiratorial script) Some say the wizard still lives, communicating through the eye itself. ~S)

Day 9 - Fog

(Description: The Tusks of Mooren

A set of tusks, hollowed out and bound together with bronze chain. The tusks have space inside to set incense which give off an opaque white fog when burned. Those caught in the fog find themselves trapped in a silent world of white mists.

The Tusks were harvested from a sacred boar and sanctified by an ancient sect of druids. It was primarily used for ceremonial purposes, and allowed its users to calm feral beasts, contain dangerous individuals, and commune with creatures far away. After the sect vanished, this artifact was passed between collectors.

The Tusks of Mooren allow you to bring yourself and any creature you choose into an alternate, liminal space for a brief period of time.

Day 16 - Demon

(Description: Box Imp

An iron box containing a small tank of oil, a burner, and a knob that can light a camp stove. The box is inscribed with arcane runes and sigils and inset with a red crystal.

Box Imps were first created to be widely distributed as magically empowered camp stoves. However, they derived their power from opening tiny portals to an infernal dimension. Eventually, these stoves became corrupted by lesser imps, who would plot relentlessly for the downfall of whatever fool owned the stove.

A Box Imp can be used to create a flame that can be as small as a candle or as large as a bonfire. The imp summoned can also be asked for advice or council.

Day 30 - Vampire

(Description: Bite of Mercy

A yellowed old vampire's fang that has been inscribed with tiny runes. The fang is attached to an ornate vial containing a small amount of blood. A thin needle is tethered to the vial with a chain.

The Bite of Mercy is a relic said to have been crafted using the fang of the first vampire. The veracity of this is disputed, but it's true the relic is ancient. The Bite of Mercy can be used to transfer life essence between two creatures, and even magically bind two creatures together.

The Bite of Mercy can transfer health between two willing creatures, reducing the maximum health of one creature and increasing the health of the other by an equal amount.
