When Flandre clenches her fist, say to hold her Laevateinn or to relieve stress, does something have its mind eye broken (or be destroyed) in the process?
Not necessarily. It’s not an ability that is active at all time, so in a normal situation, the simple gesture of her clenching her fist would do nothing.
However, if she’s having a breakdown or in an angry mood, little accidents like those are prone to happen- it’s why she prefers to hide herself away when in one of those, to not hurt anyone by accident until she has calmed down.
Her powers need a lot of concentration when it comes to use them properly, so better safe than sorry!
On a side note, when they are active, every single thing around her shows a visible eye in the form of an eyeball that look directly at her. All the eyeballs look the same, so sometimes picking up what you’re gonna destroy also needs some concentration.
It’s like being in a room in a videogame in which you’re just drowning in items you can interact with- you could click the incorrect one by accident because there are just so many that it’s overwhelming and difficult to move around. That’s Flandre’s experience when her powers are up. They activate on their own when she’s stressed so you can imagine how things can go.
