For the ask game: [BEFORE THE BEGINNING], fic of your choice ^_^

Hiii, Soot!!! Well since its a fic of my choice, I'll spare you and myself from more angst. I'll do one for my multi-chapter wip!

"Cressida wasn't sure what she had expected when Morven said they were going to be picked up by her brother but a blond with a smile as bright as the sun wasn't it. She looks between the pair as Morven drops her luggage in his arms, searching for any loose thread to pull to unravel this surely practical joke. When she doesn't find one by the time Morven turns back to her, asking "You ready to g- What are you doing? You look like a grandma without her glasses.", she bites the bullet.

"This isn't your brother." she affirms and Morven and Robin exchange glances.

"Yes, he is." Morven counters, stuffing her hands into her leather jacket's pockets.

"This guy?" Cressida asks, dumbfounded as she tosses her thumb towards him, "Mr. Sunshine here is your brother?"

"Yes?" Robin repeats with knitted brows.

He looks to his sister for help as she answers "Unfortunately.".

Cressida blinks at the duo, Morven's dark hair and almost all black outfit stands in stark contrast to Robin's blond hair and loose white t-shirt. "B-But he's so..." she sputters, her hand circling the space in front of him, "and you're so..." her circling hand moves in front of her best friend as she fails to find a word that doesn't sound distasteful.

Morven huffs, "Unfortunately good taste isn't a genetic thing so I'm stuck with this normie.", Robin rolls his eyes with an endeared smile, "You should be happy, though, we're like those moon and sun sisters in your silly little kiddie show.".

Cressida groans as her face grows hot with embarrassment. Robin, showing off just how much of an opposite he is to his sister, attempts to console the half-elf "It's okay, Cress, tons of adults enjoy shows aimed at kids! I'm quite a fan of Bear In The Big Blue House to be honest.".

Cressida groans again and Morven snickers. She is in for a long summer vacation."

uh, hey, i hate to pull you into this in case it turns out to be Drama but I think curious sootball just blocked me? idk if they found something hideously offensive in the mulan post they had just reblogged from me minutes earlier, or what, but I’m very confused... if it’s not too much trouble would you mind asking them if that was accidental because from my perspective they just vanished from existence and that’s. upsetting

i’m trying to check my own blocklist to see if I blocked THEM by accident but uh, either Tumblr screwed up again or I’m stupid or both bc I can’t find it, I don‘t use it often enough to know for sure if I’m just looking in the wrong place 😂

(Oof, I hadn't rp-ed in years) Sometimes, when Darkstalker is resting or taking a break from doing something important, Zoey climbs his horns (like monkey bars). She is a really good climber and it is pretty hard to stop her

((If he did try to stop her it might result in her getting squished. So he just tries to be cautious not to move around too much, that way she at least won’t fall lol ))

Crafty Tiso :D he deserves a nice grounding hobby with tangible results. And that sensory aid hood headcanon is *chef's kiss*

When Tiso warms up a little to his found family, he dials down his brash attitude(he does not drop it entirely; it is his learned defence mechanism, your honor); when somebody (either one of Dadmasters or void sibs or even Cornifer or Iselda) gives him something as a present for the first time, he is so touched he cries (a little) before hugging them back and just melting. (If something happens to the present, he is very distressed and tries to fix it as fast, good and discreet as he can)

Also, I love Dooblebugs's headcanon that Tiso has ADHD, and I also headcanon that he has dyscalculia. He used to be bullied for that back before he left the colony, so when somebody compliments him on his craft skills or calls him smart/clever, he keeps trying to brush it off (e.g. "You know quite a lot about forging" "Nay, I'm just a fighter, plain and simple"). He gets better, don't worry.

About Tiso's antennae moving like cat ears: I have a similar headcanon about moth antennae :D

YES I have the same headcanon about Tiso being adhd. Why? Because I have adhd and I love Tiso. Watch this epic move as I give all my favorites whatever neurodiversity I have. And yeah he would only want compliments about being a warrior because that’s what ACTUALLY matters and that’s what he SHOULD be good at and not this dumb art stuff, he’s only a warrior this is only a hobby to occupy his time when he’s not fighting he promises.

Tiso secretly likes when someone reads aloud to him – the subject doesn't really matter, he just enjoys the lowkey interaction component. (He would've loved audiobooks, but there are no such things in hallownest.) It would take a lot of time and trust for him to ask someone to do that, though – first, it clashes with his tough warrior facade, and second, he has complicated relationship with asking for attention and favours.

Lemm de-stresses by cleaning the relics he found; not just a routine dusting and polishing with a cloth, I mean full-on cleaning. (He probably would've liked ASMR videos focusing on object manipulation if he could watch them).

Crimson nails headcanon: Xero has a high-pitched sneeze. Markoth thinks it is adorable.

Revek secretly likes flower crowns; they even know how to weave those things, but the end results look kinda lopsided.

Thistlewind used to dye patches of his fur when they were a teen.
