New King up! Kucheza hit the end of his life, so this morning I crowned Chora! His name means “paint”, as a verb. I think he’s a really sweet, gentle guy. His favorite thing to do is lay by this waterfall, think about life, and make mud paintings on boulders.
Chora is a G2 Frail Pie, and has the same design as Kucheza. He has 929 stats at the moment, and is up for studding at 250 SB or 1 GB; same price as Kucheza! ID number 148865.
Kucheza has been crowned! Kucheza is a G1 Velvet, with Onyx Soft Rosette, Struthio Eyes, and a Royal Mane. Kucheza has almost 1900 stats, and will probably become a Pie/Patches come Black Friday. The stud fee is 250 SB or 1 GB, with 1 GB giving you 5 refunded breedings! ID number is #148865.
Kucheza is the result of a breeding project to get Steele Margay onto my king, and was born waayyyy earlier than I expected, so they’ve just been kicking it in my pride for like 4 months while I waited for Ukombozi, who I had kinged only a few weeks before, to get old enough to retire. Her name means “dance” or “play”, and she just wants to have some fun! A good peace-time King to bolster the Pride’s spirits after the long months of famine and war. I think he’s pretty chill, maybe a little immature, but he’s strong enough and his lands are peaceful enough that he can get away with it. I can’t decide what their gender is, so I kind of just cycle through pronouns and use whatever feels right in the moment.
My heir is all decorated! She's been tentatively named Kucheza ("dance" or "play"). I originally wanted to use the trans decor, but the colors were too light for the background, and all my Kings are bi anyway, so I used the bi decor instead. I might add Interstellar Wing Bands later.
Kucheza has Lilac Rogue, Steele Margay, Onyx Soft Rosette, and Royal Mane. She won't be Kinged for quite a while, since Ukombozi's still young. She's also missing two marks - Glacial/Ice Glaze, and Cloudburst Mist. I'm waiting for Wet Season for Cloudburst Stains, and I'm getting the funds together for the Glacial App. She's #794141145461
Decided to switch up Ukombozi's design and decor a little bit! I'm feeling purple lately, so I swapped his Blue Dapple for Heather Dapple, same slot and opacity. I also decided that in male pose, all the body paint was covering his markings too much, so I removed those and changed the background to something less bright, plus some scars for some flavor. Ukombozi's pride lives in and along a river-carved canyon, so his previous background was at the bottom of the canyon, and this one's at the top :)
Got an unexpected Mane Silky today! Unfortunately she’s dirty, and just a temporary participant in an heir breeding project, so I won’t be doing anything with her, but hopefully her part in the project finishes fast and I can sell her to someone! Mane muties honestly drive me mad because I only ever get them with lionesses I’m not interested in. Nearly 50 cubs into my Succubus project with nothing to show, but this gal decided she wanted to be her own kind of fab!
Fairly happy with my two Wenet cousins! They’ve got decent marks, although the first is torturing me a little cause she’s like a genies gift - she’s got Ticking and Siamese, plus Iris, but in slots 1 & 2. Exactly I was looking for, but in the wrong slots. The second gal is kind of funny cause she has several of the same marks, but in different colors. I’m going to try and find designs for them, hopefully I’ll come up with something good.
So a while back I had a cub born. A female Felis with a Fiery base and 1 mark. I had no use for her, so I sold her pretty cheaply. And, holy fuck, watching her journey has been AMAZING. The person who bought her sex-changed her right away and added some marks. My new son was now very handsome. Just recently I checked again, and he’s now with a different account, has been marked as their heir, and my God have they made him into one beautiful lion. They changed his base to Brimstone, his eyes to Opal, gave him a really cool name, and have just been going full throttle with making him absolutely gorgeous. I really wish he was still my lion so that I could share a picture of him. This is one of the things I really love about Lioden - that you can have a cub that you don’t think much of, but to someone else they’re a treasure. Today Namuus threw someone a Soul, and my Fissures adol was bought and base-changed to Murk, and I just can’t wait to see what their players are going to do with them!
I've changed my King Ukombozi's eyes to Mist. Her design is for Struthio, but it was taking so long to get all the feathers - way longer than it took for Uongo! - that I switched to Crepuscular, but I haven't seen hide nor hair of that darn beetle for ages now, so I've given up. I was just so tired of every cub having blue eyes. I have to admit that I like how they look in explore. Still gunning for Struthio for my next king though!
