Glad @teamniklasedin made it to the Boost National final but 💔 that they couldn’t pull off the win against Team Jacobs. Marc Kennedy was just 🔥 this week and @niklasedin made 3 mistakes in ends 4-6 that the team couldn’t overcome. I hope this week’s performance is a sign of even better things to come for the Swedes—they’ll eventually win another Slam title, right? Glad all 3 of the men in goatniklasedin are still in the hunt for the Boost National #GSOC title and will score me fantasy curling points in the QF, but bummed they’re on the same side of the bracket meaning only one of them can reach the final. As a hardcore fangirl, I can get used to seeing @teamniklasedin qualifying first for a GSOC QF, it’s been a rough couple of seasons. Disappointed #therealgoat 🐐 @niklasedin & @teamniklasedin couldn’t get the win against Team Howard this morning in game 1 of the #TourChallengeGSOC I don’t know what’s wrong w/ my Swedes. They stayed in Canada after failing to qualify for the playoffs of the Masters #GSOC so they’re not jet lagged. You can’t win games when the skip’s throwing 48% & the other team keeps stealing. It’s frustrating as a fan to see them lose game after game and come short event after event knowing how good they are. I think they tend to do better in 10-end games in general, so unless they figure out what’s wrong, get the kinks out, and throw certain monkeys off their backs, they’re going to fall lower and lower in the world rankings... I’m selfish because I really need them to win games and score me points in Fantasy Curling instead of costing me points like they did this morning. I know Team Edin & the powers that be that control their social media accounts hate me, going above and beyond to make sure I know I’m persona non grata to them, but I would like to think they’re not stupid enough to lose purposely just to screw w/ my fantasy curling points, especially since there’s prize money at stake & curling fans are familiar w/ the financial woes the team has faced since the 2018 Olympics. So wtf is wrong? Why is the best team in the world continuing to struggle and underperform at all events, both big and small, with the exception of the World Championships? #FBF to last year’s Swiss Cup Basel where 🐐 @niklasedin and @teamniklasedin went on to capture the title. The Swedes have won both of their #Friday games so far.
