Your character's man/woman is being blatantly hit on by a dirty pirate hooker. What does your character do?

If Esme legitimately had a man, I’d like to say she’d be all hardcore or something and stare at the dirty pirate hooker and do something like play with her dagger or something subtly threatening. …But she would probably just get really huffy and jealous. She would blush a lot, come over, and just BE there, in the way, asking a million, accusatory questions.

Where do you picture yourself in 10 years?

Working in an academic library, hopefully enjoying the work, might have a book written by that time, another Master’s acquired for advancement :)

Validation. Nothing I do is good unless someone tells me it’s good. Any pride I feel in completing something evaporates quickly and needs to be reaffirmed by outsiders. Ironically, the more you do this, the less I trust it.
