The other day I was listening to triplej and the presenter mentioned that an artist was going to be on later in the show and would play 5 songs including some 'curly ones'. Most Canadians would think this likely had something to do with pubic hair but in Australia it means something that is difficult or unusual. The former meaning is more commonly used, for example you might tell a friend that during an interview you were asked a curly one.
