I totally understand. That did indeed come across. Although I’m not sure that in the ‘60’s men would have been quite so thoughtful! But I imagine Steed would have always been prepared, being such a flirt! #reply #celluloidbroomcloset

I think some men in the 60s would be thoughtful, and some wouldn’t be, much like today. Steed generally pays attention to women’s autonomy and doesn’t seem to prize his personal pleasure over his partner’s safety or comfort.

Warm up sketch and just playing around in an extra page of an old sketchbook. You know that feeling when u need to buy a new sketchbook, but you're too lazy and just find a little corner of a page to add another doodle to for the tome being? That was this. On that note... I need a new sketchbook(s). Any recommendations for a brand that takes watercolor well but has lots of pages that are still lightweight? Currently using a very light paper stock of moleskin. Hi, I was just browsing through some of the fanfic snippets that popped up after reading yours about the aftermath of Conspiracy of Silence....what happened to the ones from sysann? They look interesting. But sysann doesn’t seem to exist anymore!

Unfortunately, Sysann deleted her original tumblr account and that resulted in the wiping of all her fics (and I believe that a further hard drive crash meant that she lost the original copies). She’s actually still around, just under a different name

I think it’s very gentle and lovely. Can I make a gentle suggestion tho? I don’t think family planning really needs mentioning here. It slightly spoiled the dreamy moment I felt. They are both adults and would be “prepared” for such a possible encounter I'm sure. Just a thought.

Thanks for the response! I made the choice to include that bit because I feel that it shows Steed’s awareness of and concern about his partners, and because it’s something that he’s wondering about, whether she has had other lovers, whether this is something that she planned for specifically with him. It’s meant to feed into his uncertainty with Cathy.
