Ooh i love it when I find a place in a chapter where there's a plotty problem to solve and I can immediately go back to a previous scene and drop something in there that lets my imaginary people sort it out without having to rewrite the entire back half of the story ffs.*
* pls note there already have been and probably will be plenty more situations where I will in fact have to rewrite some major portion because of plot hole annoyances, but when I can fix it without days/weeks/months of agita it's so satisfying.
