Andrina

Andrina Lin
Andrina Lin has been labeled as a rock girl since high school. She was a member of the band “Bad Daughter,” and had experiences performing at major music festivals. 「Bad Daughter」 has released two studio albums and several tracks in compilation albums. Later, Andrina released a solo album under the name “Miss Mushroom,” and has subsequently been focusing on directing and filmmaking.
Starting as an assistant director and then becoming a director, Andrina has participated in the production of numerous films over the past twenty years. She is the founder of 「VeraSolaris Films」 (now Muon Films), and has ever since produced, directed, and released multiple music videos as well as concert videos.
Three years ago, Andrina started creating a series of illustrations portraying the solitude of a woman and her cat as the main theme. During the pandemic, the chaos of the world stimulated her artistic mind to build a comfort zone through the process of meditation, which led to the state of inner reflection and self-exploration, and finally to the revelation of a path to the unknown wilderness.
Andrina is on a never-ending quest to find herself through creation. “Everything ultimately comes back to the self, which eventually blends with the power of natural flow,” she confides. Thus, her work depicts not only mysteries but also wonders, for this is Andrina’s way to connect with the world.
She says: ‘’Every facet of my life is an illustration of my past, but I do not believe that I am the result of my past experiences. Rather, I would say those past experiences helped me find my inner self.’’
