Australia fast bowler Mitchell Johnson announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket

Australian left-arm fast bowler Mitchell Johnson on November 17, 2015 in Perth, Australia announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket.

Australia's highest Test wicket-takers list is Shane Warne (708), Glenn Magra (563) and Dennis Lilly (355) after that at fourth position is Johnson. Johnson awarded as the ICC Cricketer of the Year in 2009 and 2014 and has also served the ICC Test Player of the Year in 2014. He made 2065 runs at an average of 22.13 in the Test.

Mitchell Johnson has played 73 Tests and taken 313 Test wickets at an average of 28.10 in 140 innings total and 153 ODI wickets at an average of 25.26 recorded at his name in 239 matches. He has 38 wickets in 30 Twenty20 matches.

Before Mitchell Johnson, Michael Clarke, Brad Haddin, Ryan Harris, Shane Watson and Chris Rogers have also got retired.

Johnson made his Test debut against Sri Lanka on November 8, 2000 in Brisbane. His one-day international cricket debut against New Zealand in Christchurch was on 10 December 2005.
