Well technically he did start as... parts required for artificial kaiju making. But yes, definitely embryo. Inside a gargantuan, probably 100 foot tall and 150 foot wide containment tank.

(you could use the flames to help ease the process like magically burning his clothes away and then burning them back? maybe he could get a little digital storage area so he doesn't just tear through clothes like crazy and frequently appear nakey in the woods or some place.)

KO would be pretty upset though. He has a sentimental attachment to that shirt. And I'm gonna say he first gets it shortly after Carol welcomes him in her home. Because that shirt reminds him of who he is and where he came from.
And he has other clothing lent to Venomous before this one when first being at Lakewood Plaza.
Sounds like a cool way to do it! Maybe each human to kaiju transformation and then in reverse could be something like this?
