TWIZY! If you ever go to Bermuda - do yourself a favor and rent a Twizy. It’s Bermuda’s version of a rental car. It’s all electric and on a single charge can get you about 43 miles (70km) give or take depending on how much you floor it like I do O_O. For frame of reference, one end of the island to the other is only about 21 miles. If you’re trying to book a normal rental car, you can’t because there are none available lol. The only downside to this is - it’s quite compact. So if you’re traveling with another person - they can squeeze in the back (because there’s a seat in the back as well but don’t expect to be able to bring much luggage if you’re doing that). I traveled here alone so I was able to fit my backpack that carries my DSLR, drone, tripod, etc all in the backseat. Cost? $99/day and then you have to pay a one time fee of $30 for insurance. That’s it. Charging it is completely free and there are charging stations throughout the island. This was so convenient for me to be able to go to work, but also explore the island on my leisure time without depending on cab drivers (because it’s quite expensive in the island of Bermuda).
