Birthday Special

This a story I made for a friend that involved some personal characters from my story, Cursed Children. They try to give the girl an amazing party :)

How they would celebrate someone's birthday

"YOU ARE DOING IT COMPLETELY WRONG!!"

"LEAVE ME ALONE! I AM TRYING MY BEST YOU OVERGROWN THORN!"

"Why are you guys yelling?"

"STAY OUT OF THIS YOU BLUEBERRY!"

"SIREN, YOU SAY ANOTHER WORD AND I WILL BEAT YOU MYSELF!"

"Fine."

The group was preparing for a surprise party that was dedicated to their friend. It was very rare that anyone would celebrate with a party but they felt compelled to. Siren was trying his best to decorate the cake that they had just baked. Petal was constantly pointing out anything she found wrong which annoyed the poor boy. The two had started bickering back and forth but was stopped by Thesa when she threatened one of them. It wasn't often that the group was gathered in one place so Petal felt the need to supervise. She was raised to be confident and in charge, so her instincts kicked in the minute the two boys stepped through the door. Her first victim was Pyro but she couldn't stay long since he literally threw her out the room. 

-*Small flashback brought to you by Thesa's sassiness*-

"You need to move the streamers a little more to the right Pyro!"

The male merely grumbled and continued on his work, paying no attention to her instructions. She only continued to yell at him," Are you even listening?! I want those streamers a little more to the right! This makes the room feel more open and not like a bunch of vines are gonna choke you!" Pyro could only keep his calm for so long and he was honestly trying his best to not burn the place down. The only thing he could do was to keep going and act as if she wasn't there but that didn't last long. A strip of streamer fluttered down to rest on his head and he turned around, confused as to where it came from. His face paled as he watched Petal start removing the streamers he already put up. The last of his patience snapped and steam started shooting from his ears. 

"I SWEAR THAT IF YOU TAKE ONE MORE STREAMER DOWN  I WILL MAKE YOU REGRET THE DAY YOU WERE BORN!"

Petal thought this was a bluff and teasingly tore one more down with an eyebrow raised. She had never been so scared in her entire life when he charged at her.

-*Flashback ended*-

That was the story of how a commanding Petal ended up bothering Siren with his cake decorating. Drop and Thesa were wrapping the gifts that the group had managed to get a hold of. It was quiet and they didn't hear any bickering much to their relief. This was interrupted when Siren was once again screaming at Petal who was equally as loud.

"YOU ARE THE MOST ANNOYING WOMAN I HAVE EVER MET AND THIS IS TRULY SAYING SOMETHING!"

"WELL YOU ARE THE MOST INEXPERIENCED PERSON I HAVE EVER MET AND THAT IS SAYING SOMETHING!"

"THESA, GET IN HERE AND TELL HER TO LEAVE ME ALONE AND THAT THE CAKE LOOKS FREAKING FINE!" 

Said girl angrily got up from her seat and made her way into the kitchen and was surprised by how well Siren had done. The cake was beautifully decorated and looked pretty much like a professional had done it. 

"Wow Siren! I didn't know you were so good at this!" Thesa was truly astonished at the artistic talent put into the dessert. He smirked and shot a victorious look at Petal who was beyond irritated with the male already. Thesa had to literally drag Petal out of the room before she destroyed the cake in a fit of anger. This really wasn't a good idea because she resorted to bothering Pyro once again. This only seemed like a small problem until they heard a war cry come from the room and a terrified Petal the next second. Drop investigated and found Pyro who was angrily pouting in the ashy room. His rage had caused him to burn the streamers he had decorated into piles of ash. The only thing they could do was have Drop escort the grieving male to the bathroom so he could get cleaned up. This was until Petal muttered something under her breath and Pyro started chasing her around the house. The rest of the girls couldn't do much to stop him and Siren was trying to protect his precious creation. The 'little' quarrel ended with the gifts being crushed when Petal fell onto them. The surprise party wasn't looking too good and was definitely ruined when the birthday girl walked through the door.

"What in the world happened here?!"

There stood Shidonni who was staring at the mess created by the two hotheads. Thesa tried to explain what happened while Petal was in the corner, in a timeout, and Drop was comforting the crying Pyro. The poor boy was a baby when it came to surprises, birthdays, and friends; And this was a combination of all three. The four were disappointed at their progress until Shidonni started to laugh," I can't believe you went through all this trouble for me. I am a little disappointed everything went up in flames," Pyro started to cry even more but she hurriedly continued," but this is still amazing. I am really happy that you guys did this for me and I think you all deserve a hug." There was a group hug given which made Pyro feel a little better even though he burnt the streamers and made Petal crush the gifts. 

"You guys done yet?"

They all backed away to find Siren standing behind them with plates of cake stacked on his arms. 

"WHAT CAN'T YOU DO SIREN?!"

He flashed a bright smile and handed out the plates of cake without replying. The entire group enjoyed the delicious slices of cake made by the majestic Siren, even Petal in her timeout corner. Despite the party ending with burnt streamers and crushed gifts, Shidonni truly enjoyed her birthday. She couldn't wait for next years and lets just hope that one doesn't end with the house as a pile of ash.

Happy Birthday ya dork. This is why I didn't tell you Happy Birthday all day so don't be mad at me anymore.

Drop: Happy Birthday! Sorry it wasn't what we planned but at least Siren saved the cake!

Thesa: Remind me to never have Petal in the same room as those two again. Happy Birthday though.

Petal: *Monotone voice* I am really sorry that I ruined the birthday party we had planned for you. *Sincere tone now* I do wish you a Happy Birthday though!

Pyro: Happy Birthday! Also, I'm really sorry for burning the streamers down. And chasing Petal around the house. And for also making her fall on the gifts. I'M SORRRRRYYYYYY!

Siren: Congratulations on being one year closer to dea- OWWW! Fine! Happy Birthday you four eyed em- STOP HITTING ME YOU TINY PERSON! Happy Birthday and you better of enjoyed my cake! OWW, STOP HITTING ME THESA!!

Happy Birthday from the Cursed Children crew and enjoy feeling older for a little while longer.
