⊗. hektor knows that this version of cass is an embodiment of her sadness but he just hates accepting it so he’s still out there trying to bring her a smile and as much self care as he can get her to do out of sheer stubbornness. (he knows hes changed too from how he was while alive and he figures it probably vexes her sometimes as well, but she hasn’t fought him about it yet, so!)

⊗. he has picked her up over his shoulder and carted her off before and will do it again. it is the easiest way to get cassandra outside most of the time. both of them are pretty casual about it at this point. someone sees hektor walking somewhere with cass over his shoulder and cass just makes eye contact and waves blandly like :|

Even though they’re both still fluent in Ancient Greek and Hittite as mother tongues, they don’t usually speak it to one another esp. when other people can hear them. the sole exception to this is if they’re messing with someone or running a grift, in which case they’ll pull shit like talking about the weather really conspiratorially just loud enough to make the person nearest them think that they’re talking shit and get nervous, or stage pseudo-arguments, shit like that.
