13. is there a moral line they would never cross? nope! think of an immoral act. pick one. kw has probably done that. if she hasn't, it's only because she hasn't had cause to.

17. how open are they to change their viewpoints on matters? there is no creature on earth more stubborn than kw. unfortunately, they are also extremely easily manipulated. so like... you can trick her into changing her mind. but you could never convince her.

29. what criteria do they use to assess others’ character? i think more than anything she respects tenacity. so if you seem determined, strong-willed, angry-- she's going to have a much more positive perception of you than if you seem 'weak.'

36. what is their level of emotional intelligence and social adeptness? none. they have absolutely no self-awareness. they have never once had an emotionally intelligent conversation or a normal interaction. she's a feral wild animal.

honestly i think a big part of cursedwip is asking the question “and what if the vampire was poor.”

#like. dee’s family is wealthy. much more classically vampiric.#even tho they’re not immortal they’ve been amassing wealth & power for generations in a way that makes them feel immortal.#but adrianna is broke.#you don’t see vampires in media being poor.#how does that affect the way they are perceived. what unique challenges does that present.#(this is in response to the ‘dracula didn’t live in a castle bc he’s a vampire but because he’s a count’ thing)#like. i can’t think of any vampire media where the vampire isn’t well-off and living on some elevated plane of class & wealth.#even in the YA vampire craze. they were all going to elite schools or had basements full of portraits or houses on acres of land.#adrianna dropped out of school and can’t pay her rent.#and even if she WASNT a criminal. public perception would turn her into a predator anyway.#bc she can’t afford blood from the hospital. so that would make her Dangerous to every human she meets right??#(not right. but. when there’s bigotry! and fear! etc!!)#izzy.txt #cursedwip

ok im allowed to make one more post. the thing about stevie x dee is.

dee has never met another trans person before, until stevie. dee has never experienced actual compassionate care, until stevie. dee has never witnessed someone as in love as stevie is with adrianna, and she fucking wants everything about him in ways she would not admit under threat of torture.

and stevie is wildly attracted to the fact that dee is not guilty about being inhuman. or committing atrocities. or taking action even when it’s risky. bc these are traits sorely missing from adrianna. and ofc he is MOST wildly attracted to the fact that dee is ALSO in love with adrianna.

so of COURSE they need to make out about it.

dee is SO so so helly. the moment she woke up inside lumon, her one and only concern would be “get me the FUCK out of this place.” and she would (and does, in the book, canonically) try increasingly desperate measures of self-mutilation and suicide to send a message and/or die.

AND, dee’s family is rich & powerful - the difference here is that where helena (probably, seemingly) submitted to her own severance, dee would Never. so her family would probably have her severed against her will to make her more complacent and do experiments on her.

(also - fun gender stuff to consider - dee’s outie may very well still be A Man, publically. if her family didn’t just kill her outie off to the public and keep her full-time inside lumon, which. they could do that. but she would Not have any incentive to keep treating herself as a man as an innie.)

adrianna would absolutely without a doubt become a severed worker if the salary & benefits could provide a comfortable and safe life for stevie & avery. (and, yk, it helps soothe the grief of losing her parents. mark stuff.)

i don’t think stevie would work at lumon so maybe he’s adrianna’s outie husband who functions kind of like mark’s sister - an anchor, and a confidante when things start going wrong.

and rather than the ms casey/gemma situation, adrianna would encounter her dead mom. and then her innie & outie would have to work together to figure out what the Fuck is happening There.
