My baby Carnariel again, also known as Nari...haven't uploaded her in a while and she deserves some shine so here she is! She's in her natural element, painting a portrait of her newest client who coincidentally is also nicknamed Nari and belongs to the amazing @xirinofarvada. You can't really see her face well cuz this chick's hair is in the way, smth I'll have to fix in another painting.

13. What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color? I've actually tried to check what colour she looks best in. It seems to be blue and violet, or white and gold. She also really looks good in red and yellow. As for what she thinks she looks good in, she thinks she looks good in red, silver, gold, and blue. She's mostly right on this. Curunarí has an okay sense of fashion.

34. How hard is it for them to shake a sense of guilt? Awfully. Curunarí feels guilty about things she's not even responsible for. She never really shook off her sense of guilt, not until she decided to sail West with Celeborn and Cirdan. She feels guilty for a lot of things including Melkor’s crimes, her brothers’ her crimes, her mother’s crimes, Sauron’s crimes, Turgon’s stubbornness, the Third Kinslaying, and the sinking of Beleriand. She has nothing to do with these things but she feels responsible for them. She even feels guilty about existing sometimes. So yeah, guilt and Curunarí are in a long-term relationship.

38. What memory do they revisit the most often? She often thinks back to the moment she fell in love with Celebrimbor. They were already parents by then and she had just given birth to their first son. It was dark and the tent still smelled of blood. But there stood Celebrimbor, exhausted but happy, rocking their little boy as he fed him with a bottle. Telpelen fussed but Celebrimbor sang to him. That was the moment she fell head over heels for him.

Ahh! Thank you so much for the ask, my friend. I'm choosing Curunarí for this one because she's my girl.

2. How easy is it for your character to laugh? Quite easy. Curunarí is a connoisseur of dad jokes and thinks that stuff is hilarious. She laughs at puns too. She thinks people who can do puns are some of the cleverest people in existence. She regularly goes to comedy shows in Ost-in-Edhil and has a lot of inside jokes with Celebrimbor.

22. How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)? Anger. Curunarí becomes angry and destructive. She's incredibly possessive of the things that she perceives as belonging to her and will draw blood to keep her status quo. A part of this was influenced by Mairon who himself was very possessive of his possessions (including people). So she took her cues from him and can become very violent in the throes of jealousy. She's very “act first, think about the consequences later”.

B) What inspired you to create them? I fully admit that she started out as a self-insert at first but then she spiralled into her own thing over the years and by now I'd probably be offended if I got compared to Curunarí ahahaha (she's very childish and bossy, eek). I was reading a lot of “daughter of darkness” stories on Wattpad and decided to bring my own spin to the narrative.
