I got approval from the client so cleanined it up and tighten up here and there. Getting ready to be shipped out to my mold guy.

My client might sell copies of this head. It can fit on most of 1/6 action figure body.

Oops long absence.

Ha, does anyone even follow this blog anymore?

I’ve been working on some dolls stuff a bit more lately, including finally making progress on a special project.  I tried a few different things, before finally attempting 3D printing, the results of which I received today.  (I mean technically this was my 3rd attempt at modeling a it in tinkercad because I am beyond noob with 3D modeling over years, but hey.)

Actually, I’m kind of surprised at how well it turned out.  Currently it’s being held together with silicon ear plugs, but I will be doing magnets with a “screen” sandwiched between eventually.  

Also have to figure out how I want to finish and paint this.  I’m thinking primer/spray paint for plastics, but am open to suggestions (it’s printed in polyamide, but I wasn’t entirely confident it wouldn’t need revisions).

It’s a lot more sturdy than I was expecting for the cheapest printing material available to me, and seems better balanced than I was afraid considering I didn’t really know what I was doing <_<  Yay luck.

I also kind of want to print more now....
