Cazhim leaps high into the air and raises his hand aloft calling forth a brightly burning lance, similar in appearance to the nails infamously used by the Lord of the Inferno himself. An instant later, Cazhim slams the nail down into his target resulting in a searing explosion. Damage Type: Magical. Additional Effect: Applies a weak Burn debuff to targets on hit.
LB Lvl 2: Grand Cairn
Type: AoE
Cazhim takes a wide stance and begins to move his arms in a steady flowing motion as sand and stone gathers around his enemy. Then, as he slams his palms together in a prayer position, the collected debris instantly crushes inwards with immense force . Damage Type:Physical. Additional Effect: Applies a 7 second stun to all targets on hit.
LB Lvl 3: Stormbreaker
Type:Single Target
Cazhim raises his hand to the heavens and begins gathering a massive amount of wind aspected aether into himself. Then, faster than the eye can see, he dashes in front of his foe and lets loose a devastating uppercut that, at first, appears to do little more than an average punch…but, only a breath later a column of pure force finally pushes through his foe with a thunderous crack. Damage Type: Both magical and physical split evenly. Additional Effect: None

“A synthesis of Monk training and Summoner teachings, Mystic, sometimes referred to as The Primal Fist, is a job that seeks to make the already impressive capabilities of the standard monk a match for the gods themselves by not only manipulating their “chakras” but the essence of a Primal that has seeped into their being. This combination was born when the Scion of the Seventh Dawn, Cazhim Delrune, sought to improve his understanding of his Primal foe by pursuing the ways of the Summoner. Though he was a spell weaver of average capabilities his understanding of internal aether manipulation through his monk training resulted in an unexpected but just as formidable creation…the Way of the Primal Fist. While there are no other known Mystics, Cazhim and Y’mhitra have dutifully documented their progress.”
Mystic in Training
*Practitioners of the Primal Fist learn the ways of the Monk first and foremost. As a result those in training will likely come up short when it comes to manipulating the essence of a desired Primal resulting in weaker spells and most notably the inability to summon a Egi or “Shade”, a technique that will be discussed later.*
Fist of Stone
Feel the essence of the Lord of Crags, granting the Mystic greatly enhanced durability as their body becomes as resilient as stone…and as heavy as one too. In addition to the passive boost to their defenses the Mystic also gains the ability to create localized quakes and manipulate stone in a heavily scaled down but similar fashion to Titan himself.
Claws of Flame
Spark the essence of Ifrit and let your burning spirit turn all that would oppose you to ash. The aetheric techniques performed in this state will become fire aspected, a minor but potentially useful boon. This form is more taxing to maintain than its counterparts but it more than makes up for it with its overwhelming offensive capabilities.
Wings of Wind
Wake the essence of Garuda stir within, granting the majesty and fury of the gale. In this state a Mystic becomes highly attuned to the air around them, sensing the slightest shift and reacting in kind with unparalleled agility. However; learning to do battle with this new sense can be difficult to master and may lead the unprepared to paranoid behavior. As before, the Mystic will gain the ability to gather and violently release aspected aether, in this case wind, at will. For a resourceful warrior this will provide better mobility and ranged offense both.
Mystic Mastered
*The first mark of a true master of the Primal Fist is the ability to summon one’s focus as a powerful weapon to amplify one’s use of the essences. The second sign being the ability to summon a Shade of said Primal. A Shade is short lived summoned being heavily shaped by the caster’s heart. As a result they look different than their original Primal bodies but have similar personalities.*
Heart of the Inferno
You forge the essence of Ifrit into a weapon of righteous justice. Cazhim expressed this by gaining the ability to cast forth the burning chains and nails once used by the original Primal for greater offensive and mobility options. This combined with his Way of the Lance techniques make for an explosively devastating combination. The mastery of this form makes the Mystic feel at one with the flame, removing the fear of overheating.
Heart of the Vortex
You embody the essence of Garuda, becoming the calm within and the storm without. In this state the previously acquired control over wind and likewise aspected aether is enhanced to match the keen fury of Garuda. In Cazhim’s case this made a fitting partner for his Way of the Blade style. When working in tandem with his Shade, Garuda can release her feathers for Cazhim to slash creating powerful tornadoes in their wake. If the two are in perfect sync their winds could force the very heavens to part.
Heart of the Mountain
You seize the essence of the Lord of Crags, attaining mastery over the battlefield to an even greater measure. With the earth now at their command, the Mystic is no longer inherently weighed down by this form and may dismiss or activate this effect at will. As for the weapon Cazhim chose, a hulking slab of stone, just barely recognizable as a sword, torn from the earth and his vast defensive abilities were then used to protect not only himself but those close to him as well. A role readily accepted by his Shade…when not crushing his foes first. Together this earth shattering pair leaves no room for escape.
Heart of the Undying
You enkindle the essence of the Phoenix, waking a nigh endless well of searing power within that burns away your foes and wounds with equal ease. Due to the extreme circumstances under which Cazhim awakened this form it is a bit of an outlier when compared to its peers. There is no focus or weapon present when this form is taken, instead the Shade attacks in perfect synchronicity with the Mystic, only manifesting a limb, wings or other portions of itself for the moments it is needed. In the same vein the Shade does not manifest itself as the others do. Most other Shades stand separately from their Mystic, a short distance to be certain but, never do they overlay themselves with the Mystic like the Phoenix does. The Phoenix may be unique or it may be the first step towards a level of mastery yet unknown where the Mystic and their Shade truly become one.
Appearance of the Shades
“A Shade’s appearance, like Primals, is heavily influenced by the one summoning them. As a result Shades are vastly differ from Mystic to Mystic. What will be described are the Shades of the Founding Mystic: Cazhim Delrune.”
Titan:
The Shade of Titan resembles a muscular Roegadyn man of earthen brown complexion and long white hair tied into a braided pony tail. His attire is simple consisting of loose pants, a sash and large prayer beads that wrap around his waist and over his left shoulder, as well as a white mask. The mask is carved to resemble Titan’s original face in a simplified fashion. The eyes and mouth bear earth aspected crystals that obscure visibility of the features underneath. Despite his imposing figure there is an undeniable air of tranquility around him.

Note: Hey! You made it to the end. I hope you enjoyed my little project here and if it inspired you to write your own custom class or even use this “Mystic” hybrid class of mine let me know! As always everything I post is an endless WiP so I’ll be randomly tweaking things here and there and if something looks unfinished, it just might be. That picture the most so! I will work on proper gposes for Mystic once all else is done.
Cazhim dashes towards his target throwing a mighty uppercut into the gut of his opponent that seems to shunt a golden echo of themselves out from their body. The opponent is left visibly drained as if they’d lost something vital. Damage Type: Physical. Hits with a potency of 2400 on target and applies a 10 second Enervation debuff to the target.
LB Lvl 2: Tarnished Sol
Cazhim steeples his fingers summoning a large ball of aether, reminiscent of a star, in the targeted area. He then begins to separate his hands, gleaming bolts of aether crackling between his fingertips as the “star” responds to this movment by shrinking and turning bright white. Once the “star” can be reduced no more Cazhim slams his hands together causing it to rapidly expand as a swirling black mass of energy before blinking out of existence. Damage Type: Magical. Hits target with a potency of 3500 but instantly kills all lesser foes below 25% HP.
LB Lvl 3: The Gilded Path
Cazhim takes a wide stance and points his hand towards his enemy like a spear, charging it with a blinding golden aether. Once his whole arm is overtaken he performs a One Inch Punch, shattering the very fabric of reality as large cracks shoot out through the air and his foe is seemingly frozen in time. A shine flashes across the “glass” between him and his foe revealing several other “Cazhims” from different timelines all frozen in place ready to unleash equally devastating attacks on the target. Cazhim then rips his hand away, causing reality to mend, time to flow and a column of golden aether to erupt around his foe as his timeline alternates ravage his foe. Hits with a potency of 12000 and bypasses stun immunity, even making it capable of “stunning” some bosses that are usually incapable of being stunned. However attacks from targets “stunned” by this technique are not negated but simply halted for the duration of the animation.
There ya go, you’ve reached the end and for that I thank you. But yea, these aren’t like super immutable canon things because I think of plenty of new powers for Caz all the time. Yes one of them is a DMC reference. Anyways I hope ya enjoyed it and maybe come up with and totally share some ideas of your own!
Cazhim snaps his fingers and the Shade of Garuda appears behind him, lazily reclining in the air while cooling herself with an ornate hand fan. She takes a brief moment to observe the rabble she has been summoned into before calmly waving her fan, unleashing an unexpectedly explosive burst of cutting winds centered on the fools that dared to waste her time. Additional Effect: Adds a weak knockback and applies a 3 second stun to all enemies in the effected area.
LB Lvl. 2: Grace of the Storm
Type: Single Target (Physical)
Cazhim takes a low iaidō stance, ready to draw his blade, and in response the Shade of Garuda appears behind him with a devilish grin peeking from beneath her mask. A quick flourish of her hand releases three brightly glowing green feathers which gently flutter through the air. A moment of anticipation grips the arena, but in a singular precious instant the three feathers align and are just as swiftly cut by Cazhim’s lightning fast strike. The feathers then burst into devastating tornadoes centered on their foe tearing them to shreds. Additional effect: Target is inflicted with a weak Windburn DoT.
LB Lvl. 3: Breathless
Type: AoE (Magical)
Cazhim takes a deep breath and stabs his blade into the ground, calling forth the Shade of Garuda who plants her odachi in the earth as well. The wind at the edge of the arena begins to whip up as the Shade offers her hand and the two begin to ascend wreathed in gathering winds. Both take a meditative seated position and simply breath, drawing all of the surrounding air into a small bead of aether between them. As the edge of the arena is swallowed by swirling wind and the cries of battle are deafened, the only sound heard is the focused breathing of Cazhim and his Shade until both drop the bead of aether causing it to erupt in a column of force, destroying all in reach. Additional Effect: This attack has a range 1.5 times the size of the standard LB3.
Hey! Welcome to the end once again or maybe for the first time. Regardless I hope you enjoyed my limit break idea for my custom Monk-Summoner hybrid class I’m calling “Mystic”.(formerlyThePrimalFistifyouwerearoundforthat). Regardless if you’re interested in more of these custom limit breaks or reading up on the hybrid class you can use the link at the top of the post or browse the tags! As always if you go making your own custom LBs let me know. I’d love to see/read them.
Cazhim and Alisaie begin next to each other and exchange a quick fist bump before Cazhim jogs a short distance ahead and turns back with his fingers intertwined, ready to give her a boost. Shortly after Alisaie sprints towards him and Cazhim launches her over their foe, the young woman raining down aetheric blades as she flys overhead. “I hope you’re ready for this, little sister!” Cazhim calls out, taking a low stance and gathering crackling aether between his palms. “Just be sure to give it your all this time!”, Alisaie responds in kind as she readies to fire an amplified Resolution spell. The two, in perfect sync, fire their held spells and with immense force they collide on their foe who stands in the crossfire. Their contest continues for a few moments before Cazhim’s aether begins to overwhelm Alisaie’s, sensing this Cazhim alters his stance slightly allowing the beams to shear past each other. The two beams dissipate and Alisaie is bent over catching her breath, “I’ll catch up to you yet…” she huffs before jumping back to Cazhim’s side while he simply shakes off his steaming hand and chuckles “Next time.”
