I have made the most beautiful mirror! And it’s got a little bumble bee on it!

Originally I was planning on just doing the bee and honeycomb part, but ended up adding the mirror because it felt like it needed a little something extra. It’s so pretty in person I’m in love with it!

'Uzumaki' will always be my favorite of Junji Ito's work, so I created mirrored-acrylic wall art pieces inspired by Kirie Goshima for my SHOP. They're both OOAK & even lovelier in person! "Dan Mirror" Upcycled 14 in. diameter mirror w/ spray paint + vinyl. Started 01/29 and finished 05/02.

One of my favorite pieces ever... a semester in the making. I found this mirror thrifting back in January and was gonna leave it until I realized the shape was literally a dandalien! It felt like fate. So it became painting 3/5 for my Painting 2 daily paintings assignment, and I just recently added the face with the help of my printmaking teacher + technician!

The prompt for this was "strange perspective," so initially I wanted to make a painting that literally stared back at you and Dan is the easiest character to make in 3D because he has no leaves, but I relate to Dan the most outta the Space Race cast so this piece can also be about seeing yourself in your favorite characters. Or something.
