I just want animal crossing and minecraft to do a fusion dance

Like seriously minecraft, especially modded with cocricot, is so much easier to decorate and design and build the perfect place for you to live.

But it feels so empty.

And I don’t have people I play minecraft with frequently enough to make these worlds feel inhabited. To make them have meaning. Because I do play with my friends, but we don’t stick to the same world long enough (partially my fault because I love to mess with mods) and we never really ‘make characters’ or anything to make the world feel inhabited. We just kinda hop on and build some stuff and then leave.

Worlds just feel like empty, beautiful husks without life and characters living in it.

I want villagers that actually talk to me. Villagers that want to be friends with me. That I can make fun characters of and just live in a happy little escapist magic fantasy world. And if my irl friends visit, they can make friends with them too.

The mods these days that I can find just aren’t scratching that itch.

We need Minecraft Comes Alive back again. Or Custom NPCs. Or some alternative that lets actual characters exist in your world.

Hey guys! I wanted to make a little post asking about some things.

Firstly, I was thinking about installing the Custom NPCs mod (if i can get the right version) so I could possibly start building a town and adding characters to it. I was thinking of maybe making it inspired by animal crossing or beatrix potter by having cute little anthro animal villagers around. I was wondering if you guys would like/be interested in that?

I also thought it could be fun to take suggestions for designs or names for characters to live there. So it would be like a fun little community thing.

Let me know if you guys like the idea.
