I got to make some super-cute hooks today.  A customer liked the look of my standard ‘thick bar’ hooks, but they were too tall for her needs.  She asked if I could cut them down to around 2″.... so I said I’d give it a try.

This is the best part of the job -- the challenge of doing something different.

Total height came out to 2-1/4″ which was just enough room to get the tools in there to forge the countersink and drill the screw hole.  Met the customer’s needs and turned out something has has a nice visual appeal while functioning exactly as it needs to.
