Apparently this cute hand-painted planter my dad found in a friend's garage and gave to me is actually an antique 1950s cookie jar sans the lid

Buuuut I have more plants than cookies, so cache pot it shall remain!

I found a cute little pot for a little cactus. Originally it was sitting on the lid of a jar and it was a time and a half to try and water.

My new favorite outdoor friend ☀️

This is Soft Rush or Juncus effusus, I had never quite seen anything like it before. I think it looks so whimsical and fits so perfectly inside this planter. I can’t wait untill it fills out its home, I will definitely be posting updates on this one!
