What are some of your wishlist plants?
I actually just got one of my wishlist plants yesterday; the philodendron melanochrysm ❤️
Shes a little beat up at the moment since she is an import but I'm hoping she'll thrive in my care soon

So I've been pretty good this last year about not really brining new plants into my collection and focusing on the ones I have. This neon pink syngonium is one I have been eyeing for awhile. I kept telling myself no because I have a ton of plants. Eventually I decided to reward myself and get her 😊 honestly, no regrets. I love just staring at her
Another beautiful alocasia at a plant nursery!! 💚
So something interesting is happening with my scindapsus pictus. She's starting to climb and shingle on the wall. This literally has never happened before since my plants never seemed to want to grip the wall! My future shopping list now will include a plank of wood for her :)
A fire had burned through these woods a couple of years ago. I'm amazed how much of the mountain side it had taken with it. However what truly got me was the heavy smell of burnt would still in the air. If it weren't for all the new bushes, I could easily be convinced this fire happened yesterday.
About time Freya the Alocasia Frydek put out a new leaf! The pests have been out of control in my house and for awhile she was really struggling
Calatheas. So beautiful but so fussy. I keep wanting to get more of them but they die off quite quickly in my care 😕
I love fenestrations in leaves. These epipremnums are slowly climbing up to be on my wish list
A cute pink princess in home depot. If they were not infested with white flies I may have left with a new plant friend
Every year I saw @little-life-on-the-plantrie make jams. So this year I felt inspired to try my hand at making home made syrups!!
Since I don't have a garden I ended up picking wild blackberries for four hours. Safe to say the syrup collection may be endless :)
Felicia may hate giving me good leaves but she decided to have two little alocasia stingray offshoots! They are so small and precious
It's been a long couple of weeks. I ended up stepping back from the digital world to enjoy more of life. Honestly, no regrets. Here is a photo of a seal that I watched for over an hour :)
A little blurry, but here is a photo of a lizard friend.
Moments before the lizard a snake crossed my path and a nearly jumped out of my skin because I wasn't expecting to see one 😅🙈
Sometimes the clarity of lakes is just breathtaking. I loved seeing these lakes. The fish in this one even were swimming close to shore so we got to observe them!
I love these narrow lesser traveled trails
Before I got into plants, I avidly hiked. Over the last weekend I went back to those roots and realized how much I missed being out on the trail and away from the world.
Some late little ducklings splashing about the water ❤️ it was a very pleasant surprise to see them
