They will be available at our table this Saturday at @nocoastcraft !
YAY! We are finally back at it! Today Nick and I have taken over the living room and are spending the day working at the same table together. Since separating our studios it’s been a while since we’ve worked near each other, which we plan on doing more. Plus we get to watch Voltron together ALL DAY LONG!
We have plans on making more, getting prints and stuff made to sell, and maybe even table at some shows! Oh also streaming our living room take overs bi-weekly! Keep a look out!
Day 13! Happy Halloween from Cute-N-Grim! We are sooooo happy to have made it through the 13 days of Scary and now we finally arrive to our favorite holiday. I am currently listening to a podcast about Haunted New York and planning our Halloween night in NYC. Gonna be super scary!! Wahahaha ok done being a dork now. Go enjoy this amazing day and some pizza. Let's just hope your's doesn't have any mind controlling bugs in it. Can anyone guess where that's from?
Thanks so much everyone! Happy Halloween!
Also don't worry there is more to come on Cute-N-Grim very soon!
Day 11! Garry Marshall as Satan in Hocus Pocus! One of my favorite movies ever! Year round I will watch it! Seriously! My favorite part of the whole movie is when Garry Marshall (a kick ass writer/producer) appears handing out candy to children while dressed as Satan. And the Sanderson sisters mistaken him for the real Satan and call him Master. It's adorable and weird. I'm sure you have seen it but if you haven't GO DO IT NOW RIGHT NOW DO IT! It's probably playing on ABC family as you read this.
Come back for Grim's post tomorrow!

Day 9! Midnight Margaritas! It's my favorite part of the movie Practical Magic. This movie is pretty cheesy in the romance department but I ADORE the Victorian aunts, the story of their mothers and grandmothers, and over all the beautiful town on the sea where they live. Plus they have a good amount of witchy fun. BUT to my my point. Midnight Margaritas! They all dance around their kitchen drinking Margaritas, laughing, and making fun of each other. Only for the moment to be soon ruined by an undead man. But yeah, you should check it out. It's a much more lighter halloween movie but totally worth the watch.
Come back for Grim's post tomorrow!

Day 666 (the devil, ouch) ! Ignore my stupid jokes, Day 6! Today’s entry is Severen from the movie Near Dark. I’ve only just recently become aware of this in the past few years, and its pretty fantastic. It features some of the best members from the cast of Aliens, and come on if seeing Bishop, Hudson, and Vasquez on screen together again doesn’t get you pumped you’re just dead inside. Kathryn Bigelow, who brought us the great Johnny Utah and a bunch of other great movies, directed it. I have some mixed emotions about this movie, its one of the only horror movies from the 80’s where if it was announced that they were remaking it, I might be excited, just because the plot of the movie itself is kind of muddled. Don’t let that stop you from watching it, other than that it rules. Its dark, ruthless, and there really isn’t anything else out there quite like it. When have you ever seen vampires in a shoot out with the police? One more thing Bishop, Vasquez, and Hudson are half of the main cast. I know I said that, but come on, you shouldn’t even be to this point in this paragraph, you should be already watching this movie. Tune in tomorrow for Cute’s post! -Grim
Thirteen days of Something Scary, part deux, the grim side taking over. Day two is one of the greatest zombies/creature designs in horror history Tar Man. Tar Man is from the 1985 movie ‘Return of the Living Dead’ and created by Dan O’Bannon and William Stout. I saw this in high school because of a buddies insistence and its been a long time favorite ever since. Its got a great soundtrack, follows all of the best 80’s tropes, and is entirely tongue in cheek, so if you like movies like Cabin in the Woods, Shaun of the Dead, or Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn, you should really check this one out. - Grim
