Donations?

I really hate reaching out and making my life seem like a pity party, but as a single mom with the holidays around the corner, I can't help but extend all my options. I have a three year old son, who is just wonderful. I want to give him the best Christmas I can, and in doing so I have been skipping out on rent payments trying to save some money. I have added a donation button (hopefully it works) to my blog for donations for rent and Christmas gifts. I can't offer much in return except a heartfelt message and pictures of my son opening the gift you helped purchase or a photo of the receipt from my landlord showing I used your donation to help pay rent. If you decide to help out a friend and fellow blogger in need, thank you. Please let me know you donated so I can be sure to keep you updated on what your donation went for, My son's father stepped out on us right after he was born, and has since then been jumping around homes and jobs to avoid paying child support. He has no interest in his son, and assured me if I needed help to ask, but when I asked, he told me no. Thank you, for your help. If the button doesn't work for whatever reason please let me know.
