If it’s not obvious from my username, I’m a big fan of found family so even though I primarily talk about shirbert when it comes to awae, I literally almost cry every time I watch the scene where Matthew says “I don’t know how you think I don’t have love in my life, I have you” or when Marilla says “you’re a wish come true I never knew I was making”, like the relationship between Anne and the cuthberts has always been the backbone and best part of the show, and I would’ve loved to see how that played out while she was away at college during season 4
