In praise of Pluto

No, not the planet or whatever its current official status is at the moment.  I’m referring to Pluto TV, the app that runs on my phone, on my laptop, and on my Roku on my primary TV.  It provides 200 channels of content in a variety of categories.  Almost anything you can want is there.  

Oh, and by the way, it is free.

One of the 200 channels it supports is Biography.  And on that channel, I watched Chris and Don: A Love Story this afternoon.

Preparing for a new install tomorrow. Dumping Comcast for Verizon internet and officially cutting the cable cord. And saving a bunch every month. I don't need cable anymore - everything I want to see comes through my Roku. But I do need a solid internet connection, and the speed is like 4 times what I'm getting now. And after the installer is gone, I will replace the window hardware and finally put up my Captain America curtains. cutting cords

we learn kids it is ok to curse, that it is normal to smoke, to eat shit and be happy with it

we learn them that natural and spontaneous behavior is wrong, and being fake and plastic is totally fine

i might be wrong

i never felt so right and at the same time so lonely, but happy with it

cutting the cord hurts, sometimes hurt gives that certain amount of pleasure and feels so good

my stomach hurts, i need to calm it, no more stuffed animals, all bacteria shall die 

kids are alright, kids are doing just fine, for now..
