I had to replace the front wheel bearing and cv axle on my Denali the other day. The wheel bearing was breaking apart and making a loud grinding noise. Glad this one is done. Now on to the other side...

We can hear a rotational noise on a Honda CR-V. The clacking sound is coming from the inner joint on the driver side axle, which is moving.
The constant velocity (CV) driveshaft should be replaced.
You might also hear clicking or squeaking sounds if something is wrong with the axle.
For commonly owned vehicles, expect a replacement cost ranging from $1000 to $1200, with labor being the major expense. For luxury or sports
