what sorts of personalities would you like to see here? i used to really like writing instigators/antagonists but would find that people didn't like writing with them, so i'm not sure if there's anything that people are looking to write with here!!
hi, anon!! not going to lie, this one made us think simply because we'd welcome any kind of muse here - but after reading your ask again i think it's important to emphasize that you should write a muse you like and want to, rather than something other people would like more!
i do understand that it might not be fruitful since i also have noticed in the past in other roleplays that instigator/antagonist muses seem to have a more difficult time getting plots or threads but i think in a group like ours where the main focus is everyone competing for the crown (some against their will or personal interest or with less stake than others), it allows for those kind of muses to thrive more? we do, in fact, have some muses who are more cutthroat or sneaky even if they aren't obviously/outwardly so, since everyone does need to keep up a good image and reputation to show they're worthy for the throne, so i think if you wanted to write a muse like that then they would be able to work within the setting!
that being said though and if you're truly okay with writing any kind of muse or are just having a hard time thinking of a muse (me a lot of the times tbh lol), i think it'd be fun to see more lower ranking royals, most notably tier 3 (newly appointed princes/princesses) or tier 4 (fallen princes/princesses or those who are still trying to earn a title)! maybe a royal who is almost at the end of the 6 years they're given to earn a title but still unable to and thus are super desperate? royals who are fake as hell and kissing up to others to make themselves look good but are secretly spreading rumors about others or planning to sabotage them?
for knights, i don't think we have any 2nd class knights right now so some more of those (and 1st class knights too, honestly, since we only have 1 right now) would be nice too! they could be trying their best but for whatever reason, are still not able to ascend the ranks; or someone who doesn't take their training seriously but got in due to having above average physicals/abilities? maybe they did have passion at some point but now, don't?
also in general--although not related to personality ideas--we’d love to see more girls, as well as just more citizens in the kingdom of spades! 😉
