What is the kingdom’s take on lgbt muses? Would they have backlash or would they be arranged with someone they could love?

despite the kingdoms being just off the coast of south korea and having adapted with modern cultures and technology through the years, there is sometimes tension but not as much backlash on lgbtq+ muses. kingdoms do still hold a lot of old traditions and values for their ruling families (having a king and queen), so even though muses may be less heavily criticized about being lgbtq+, there is still an unspoken understanding and expectation that a muse would abide with royal traditions and enter a marriage with whatever partner is chosen for them when ascending the throne, or being placed into a marriage for royal alliances. this is not to target any muses specifically, but because royal relationships are heavily centered around politics and not true love and romance.
that being said, all lgbtq+ muses are welcome here and do not have to be forced into a "traditional" relationship by the rp lore as no royals are currently ascending the throne. if you want your muse to have any plots or character development surrounding the traditions that are still present in the kingdoms that is perfectly fine and completely up to you!
just to emphasize, lgbtq+ muses would not be scorned in any of the kingdoms whether this information is known ic or not. as well, all muses can have secret or open relationships and that would be okay too! just keep in mind that with the open relationships, there may be some people who still don’t approve of it so that’s where the criticism can come into play.

hi when you guys added that social media posts must be a graphic, what did you mean? can you provide resources for typists who don't know/have ps so they could at least collect the points?

thank you so much for reaching out about this! i will actually be placing this under a cut since it did get a little lengthy!
in regards to what we mean by graphics, we're referring to premade templates that you can usually find online for social media such as instagram, twitter, snapchat, etc. most of these resources are FREE online with the exception of some templates that individual artists may personally choose to put a price on! of course, we don't expect any of our members to spend money on photo editing apps or templates to take part in something small as this since it is just for fun in rp!
with that, we definitely have resources for all of our members who don't have photoshop available! one free online source that both admin heart and i have used before is called PHOTOPEA. it's essentially the same thing as photoshop, serves the same purpose and has the same features except that it's online and free!
as for templates, you can find a lot of different free designs off of DEVIANTART specifically under a search for "social media templates" (sm templates, instagram templates, etc). as an example, please check out this link for instagram templates! another way you can find free templates is searching off google or tumblr. you'll be able to find more free templates though those searches if nothing catches your eye off of deviantart.
social media posts are just meant to be a quick fun thing! we don't expect members to go over-the-top (although more than welcome if you want!) for these activities! if you're looking for something simple and easy to use, i'll also link a few templates below this!

we're sorry if this made things difficult for you in wanting to participate in the social media portion since you are right!! not everyone has access to editing apps like photoshop so we apologize that we hadn't added an alternative to the events post at the beginning. i am currently discussing an alternative with admin heart on creating graphics themselves for our members who might have trouble creating one. once we've figured out an alternative we will either update that here or make a small notice post about it from main!

the apology should really be coming from us! we definitely weren't expecting to have received as many apps as we have recently! we definitely really appreciate all the interest and couldn't be happier with how many people have submitted apps up to this point too! however, all the apps seem to have come at a super busy time for both me and admin heart. with work going on and it currently being midterms admin heart and i are a bit behind in being able to review and re-reviewing all of the apps that we currently have.
we really appreciate your enthusiasm and all the patience that everyone has had with us so far! we're definitely working on getting through the apps as soon as possible so that you guys can all join and take part in our current event as well!
