So I fucked something up so all my CxB Week 2023 shit is going to be late

I wanted to join in @priestessofnox's Clark x Brainy Week 2023 but it all went down the drain cause I got distracted by a fanfic I tried to make for fanfic Friday/day 2 but it needs proof reading.(One of the only times I've ever gotten someone to be a beta reader/proof reader) I'll post that eventually on DA & A03 with a link here.

Day 1 was beginnings

Decided to have it be the beginning of Conner joining the family, going from a lonely existence in Lex Luther's lab to living in a loving family with a couple half siblings.(Since he's a clone of Clark & Luther)

Brainy has on an exo-skeleton/armor that comes from the fanfic I was working on. It's meant to be like his old cybernetics. The guy behind him is Van, Clark & Brainy's first kid who is based on a kid Clark had in a dream from an episode of Justice League Unlimited.

Conner doesn't have the family symbol yet but he will eventually. I originally made my design based on Conner from the Young Justice cartoon but tried to change some stuff like his old design from the comics & mix in some My Adventures with Superman designs in there.

I got maybe some other pics I'll post later.

2023 CxB Week

A group that focuses on the pairing ClarkxBrainy from Legion of Superheroes. We want to be able to gather art and fanart that supports this

So it's the month before CxB week, which will hopefully give people a little heads up if they want to participate.

I got very behind again & at some point I kind of couldn't continue drawing

Day 3 was favorites

I honestly had no idea what to put for this though some of it could have gotten mixed in with day 6(crossover) however I was to tired to draw anything for crossover day so if I get the chance I'll do it next year.

I decided to draw some hair styles I got a little to obsessed with at some point. First one is a hime cut thanks to Rika Furude from Higurashi, ever since I saw the show as a kid(the wild west of Youtube was insane) I got obsessed with her haircut which eventually calmed down but I did give the bangs to my version of Sonic.(Who has them mostly tied back usually) The other one is from a show/series I don't watch, something about framed bangs/vent hair is cute but also the long braid added to it.

For the longest time I mage older Brainy have long hair, recently his hair has pretty much been chopped off but growing back some. The idea is that before season 2 of Legion of Superheroes he grew out his hair & actually got into styling it before something led to him chopping it all off like how he has shorter hair in his time skip design. He still has photos & knows Clark adores seeing him try things out. Probably knows Clark would like to see him try those hairstyles again now that they're older & he can be there to mess with his fiance's hair.

Fun fact I drew this before day 3 & day 7's pics & you can semi tell I slowly got tired as time went on

Day 5 was holidays

I was going to make holiday photos but decided Halloween was a better idea cause I didn't want to draw the Kent family which includes Clark's parents & a future member Damian Wayne-Kent.

I guess you could say this is a sequel to a pic I should redraw, it was Brainy getting the kids(at the time would only be Van & someone I forgot about) while Clark showed up deciding a bed sheet ghost was a good idea. Years later when the family has grown Clark decided to try again. I also realized I don't know how old I wanted Cara to be at this point. The family has grown since my last redesign of the Kent kids especially since I added more kids.

Brainy is Coraline with some slight edits(kinda inspired by Queraline some), if he kept his disguise device on he'd look a little more like Coraline especially since his disguise has dark hair & Coraline doesn't have green skin

Cara is Blossom(funny as in the original she was Bubbles)

Van is Jack Skeleton(Megan is Sally)

Jon is an old news reporter

Chris(in one version of the comics he's Clark's adopted son) is Pon de Lion(a donut lion)

Conner is Mike Chilton from the cartoon Motorcity

Clark is a bed sheet ghost

Here's the final piece for my Clark x Brainy week stuff for the year & before I go to bed.(it's 1:27 am) What did I learn from this? I seriously need to plan ahead more again.

Day 7 was endings

I chose the end of being parents due to all the kids leaving the house, their kids have grown up & moved out.(Though Jon eventually moves back to the farm with Damian)

This was originally meant to be them tearing up over getting a wedding invitation from Cara but I decided to change it to when she moved to Brainy's time to join the Legion of Superheroes. Clark & Brainy came to help her move in & to visit old friends & their kids, Brainy is a little sad to see her go & Clark reassures him that Cara has their friends & their friends' kids as support plus they can message her any time & she can visit them.
