ClarkxBrainy Week2024 Day 4
Last of my Clark x Brainy Week 2024 stuff until I get around to the really late pic I wanted to make for crossover day.
Day 4 was time, I guess in a sense you could say this is a mix of day 2 which is reflection. Here's a link to a pic from 2021 that I feel fits reflection, might one day redraw it to be current version of Brainy.
This is Clark & Brainy over the years, at one point my friend Vincent suggesting giving Brainy short hair & I later got inspired by My Adventures with Superman for some of the designs.

This is meant to take place after season 2's finale & after the events of my oneshot "Let's try again" were Brainy is convinced to return to the legion & let them help him.(Plus Clark convincing his friends to let him visit occasionally) Clark & Brainy enjoying their new relationship but Brainy is still struggling with the guilt of his part in the events leading to the season 2 finale along with other issues he tried to push to the back of his mind at some point finally surfacing. He's let his hair grow out* & has been trying to style it occasionally, he's happy because things are going better & he gets to be with Clark but at the same time he feels lost & is dealing with some self-loathing.
*Slight callback to in the past when I had older/post-season 2 Brainy grow his hair out again before back in 2023 I ended up giving him short hair like my friend suggested
This is the point when Clark & Brainy were separated for a while. Clark wasn't able to visit for a while due to stuff in his personal life which was unfortunate timing as Brainiac 6/the remains of Brainy's cybernetics came back into the picture. At some point Brainy sacrificed himself by pushing himself & Brainiac 6 into a portal with no one able to find him. This is Clark's reaction to learning his boyfriend went missing with no chance of recovery.
This is around the time Brainy reunites with Clark, Brainy ended up in the past & luckily had a device that hid his appearance.(He made his appearance have tanned skin & dark hair) At some point he cut his hair & became a bit more out going than he use to be, he has some issues still but is in a better head space than when he sacrificed himself. Clark didn't know it was him & in fact this Brainy possibly overlapped with past Clark before Brainy went missing. Brainy eventually told Clark who he was & they started working on getting use to each other again. They at some point told the others about Brainy being alive but due to having a life in the past now & wanting to stay with Clark he just visits on occasion instead of returning to the future. At a later point Clark & Brainy with help from the Justice League defeated Brainiac 6.
Further into the future, Clark & Brainy have a family & while Clark still does Superman duties Brainy is less active but still helps out, he was more focused on their kids who needed their parents. Brainy slowly becomes more active after Cara moves to his time to join the next gen Legion of Superheroes but goes back to being less active when helping Jon & Damian with their daughter along with some of his other eventual grandkids.
Like I said earlier I'm going to try to work on a late crossover day post but other than that this is it for my participation in Clark x Brainy Week 2024. I still need to remember to work on stuff ahead of time but I have doubts I'll remember to do shit. I hope everyone enjoyed my stuff, with luck I'll get around to the updated version of my list of kids for these two eventually. I finally posted this stuff to Tumblr.
