cxrruptedgem happened across a lost Gem...

Rain. That's what they called it, right? It rained. (And from the sounds still playing in the darkened sky, it might even rain again.) Lapis still wasn't sure how she felt about the sky randomly pouring water on everything - including her. It was cold. But it tickled! She might even enjoy it if she had someone to enjoy it with. But with her distrust of humans and the Crystal Gems chasing pretty much everyone else off this planet, there wasn't really anyone to enjoy it with...

She was sitting and absently playing with the surface of the tiny puddle, when something pricked in her mind; she sensed-- A Gem presence!

Lapis whirled to her feet with a soft gasp. But what met her eyes after a brief scan (and a decidedly sudden glance downwards) was so strange to her, she let out a soft: "Huh...?"

The creature was small... and looked pretty soft too. She could sense the Gem magic in her little form, though, and so she tilted her head, and sat back down. "Hello. Are you enjoying the rain, too?"

Knowledge was like a drug in a sense, as the first taste will only make any creature crave more of it. Which was why Peridot chose to enter some risky territory, caring little for risks as something caught her eye. Luckily the gem chose to travel alone, for the entity seemed like something that encourage a need to attack it. But for now the scanners were in use, collecting the needed data while hiding behind a rock with the head peering out the side.
