A weight is lifted off of her shoulders. Even if she had known very early on into their relationship that he had wanted children, there was still that deep fear instilled in her that once she had fallen pregnant, he wouldn't want the child. He wouldn't want her. That he would leave and abandon them for someone else. Not because he's that type of person, but because minds are fickle things and will have you gaslighting yourself quicker than you can even blink.
