"Miss... Sad Angel?" Cyan walks herself over to the fallen angel, with her teddy bear clutched to her hands.
Serenity looks over and sees how the small girl is feeling worried after waking up at night. "Oh, Cyan." The woman places her gloved hand onto the child's cheek and strokes it gently. "Dear child, why are you out of bed so late?"
"I-i... had a dream... of that scary clown... H-he was taking me away from my mommy and... daddy." She spoke out, anxiously. By Serenity's blue eyes, there is only one that she and Spawn might know who would give poor little Cyan this kind of dream. Cyan continued. "But then... I tried to run... but the clown grabbed me," tears started to come out of the girl's hazel brown eyes, "and took me to this place that seemed... t-too scary for me." Until then Cyan completely breaks down and sobs with her tears streaming down in her cheeks.
Suddenly feeling sympathetic for the small child. The angel used one of her big wings to pull little Cyan closer to her body. She then shushes her gently to have Cyan calm herself down.
Now that the girl has stopped crying, she wraps her arms onto Serenity. However her thoughts of Clown hurting little Cyan is something very worse to the fallen angel to witness.
"It was Clown.. wasn't it?"
"Y-yes... he was a really sc-scary one." Cyan looked up at Serenity.
"Don't you worry about that creep, dear." Before swiping the tears off of the child's face and the angel continued speaking to her. "He's only doing this to hurt Spaw– I-i mean the... Sad Man. He'll know how to deal with people like Clown."
"Would he not let the clown take me away?"
"Of course he wouldn't Cyan." Serenity smiled gently at her. "After all, it's to keep you and the Fitzgeralds safe and sound... Even also... me." This helped Cyan become comfortable and thus she smiled at Serenity.
Until then, Cyan started to yawn due to staying up late in the middle of the night. That made Serenity a bit surprised and thought to herself. "Huh... she's yawning... probably means that she's really tired right now."
But then the little child was about to drop herself to the floor, Serenity manages to catch Cyan to prevent her getting her head hurt.
"Don't tell me I'm gonna be the one who will be taking her to bed this time at night." She thought to herself again but disappointed.
