So with WotC redesigning the dragons, I of course had to check them out. And I was very disappointed with the new Blue Dragon. So I took it upon myself to blend aspects of the old Blue and the new Blue!
And then proceeded to take said redesign and apply it to the Rise of Tiamat NPC/early game boss, Cyanwrath. Mostly because in the Tiamat game I'm in, the guy is somehow still alive and getting redeemed. Apparently we were supposed to kill him! Whoops!
Anyway, this painting was done traditionally using some gouache I bought with my Christmas money, and a bit of acrylics at the end for brighter highlights and blues.
