I am back, once again, with a name replacement mod! After the success of my Medieval Name Replacement Mod, I knew I wanted to make more name replacement mods for historical TS4 players. And since the other most popular Decades challenge, besides the Ultimate Decades Challenge, is the original one that takes place from 1890 to the present, it only made sense to do a mod that replaces the names that are hardest to find within those decades.
That is why our next mod is full of names between the years 1800 and 1919, so it can work for those who play Regency gameplay as well.
How does it work?
It’s very simple. You download the mod, and put it into your mods folder, wherever you keep default replacements. Once the mod is in your folder, load up the game. In both CAS, randomly generated townies, and babies, the available names will only be selected from a pool of period appropriate names.
When in CAS, if you use the die to randomize a name, it will only give you appropriate names, like so:
When a townie is randomly generated in town, they will no longer have modern names, like so:
When your sim gives birth to a baby, the random name options will all be appropriately old fashioned, like so:
Is it compatible only with English?
It should be compatible with every language. I did it the same way that I did the updated version of my medieval mod, so it should also be compatible with Kuttoe's Townie Demographics mod, and similar mods.

a little over 4600 English male names
nearly 13,000 English surnames/bynames
the date range that these names should be appropriate for is between 1800 and 1919
the English names should be appropriate for all English speaking countries, because I tried to pull names from the appropriate timeframe in multiple countries
Indian names updated to be more appropriate to the time period
Islander names updated to be more appropriate to the time period
Japanese names updated to be more appropriate to the time period
Moroccan names updated to be more appropriate to the time period
Latin names updated to be more appropriate to the time period
Native American names updated to be more appropriate to the time period

thousands of pet names (cats, dogs, and horses)
in the future, I intend to add names for the farm animals as well

Disclaimer: The Indian, Islander, Moroccan, Latin, Native American, and Southeast Asian names were incredibly hard to find, so they may not be appropriate to the time period. The only names I could properly find were Japanese names. If you want to help me find better, more time period appropriate names for any of these, please feel free to send me a message!

Sul sul, and hail, my fellow medieval gameplay enjoyers! Have you grown tired of scouring the internet for names appropriate for Ultimate Decades Challenge, or the History Challenge, or any other gameplay that includes a medieval time period? Because I sure did, and that's why I got the idea to create this mod for those of us who want to just leave it up to the game to name our sims. And now, I'm so so excited to present it to you now!

How does it work?

Well, it would be far too long of a list for me to tell you all of the names, but here are the details I can share - (under the cut)
a little over 3500 female names
a little over 7200 male names
a little over 13,400 surnames/bynames
the date range that these names should be appropriate for is between 800 and 1500, because that is the range that I pulled names from
Indian names replaced by medieval German
Islander names replaced by medieval Dutch
Japanese names replaced by medieval French
Moroccan names replaced by medieval Scottish/Irish
Latin names replaced by medieval Spanish/Portuguese
Native American names replaced by medieval Lithuanian, Latvian, Hungarian, Russian, and Romanian (I wanted to add all of these languages separately but ran out of categories)
Southest Asian names replaced by medieval Italian
a little over 1400 pet names (cats, dogs, and horses)

I don't know whether or not any of the other no mosaic mods out there work or not, but as far as I know, they don't work for infants. So I decided to take on a little task for myself, and create one that works for infants.

I actually reached 400 followers a few weeks ago, and I planned to make something as a gift, but never got around to it because that was the time I was setting up my YouTube channel. At first I wasn’t going to do anything, but then I decided randomly today to learn how to create loading screens, and then had a blast making 8 different ones!

I just reached 100 followers today, so it’s time to release that CC I was making a while back! It’s two different pictures, with 15 swatches each.
The first picture is Dreams of Dayscapes, full of daytime pictures of places around all of the non-destination worlds.Â
The second picture is Dreams of Nightscapes, which is all of the same worlds, but different neighborhoods at night time.Â
I wanted to do something bigger, like an actual mesh or a hair recolor or something, but I still need to learn more to do something like that. So maybe by the time I reach 200 followers I’ll have something better!Â
Hey ya’ll. Just posting to say that I’ve created a Patreon page and added Patreon links to all of my previously created CC.
The only reason why I did this is to provide another place where people can download my CC if they want to - because I know that sometimes SFS and MediaFire can be... unreliable. I’ve been planning to do it for a while, but I felt like my content isn’t good enough. I still feel that way, but I’m also not going to be making anything Patreon exclusive, so it’s fine.
(I also wanted a better place to post the mods I’m working on, once I finish them.)
