When I was younger I always thought it was so boring and meaningless when beauty pageants say they want #worldpeace 🙄 Like how unoriginal and unauthentic can you be? But then after finally understanding the world a little better, finally being less ignorant, and finally growing up some more I realize how important and meaningful those two words mean 😪 . . . . . 🏛Sitting within the intersection of #CalledeAlcala and #PaseodeRecoletos lies #PlazadeCibeles. The most famous and recognizable building in the plaza is the #CybelePalace! The palace was built in 1909 as the headquarters of the postal service. Since then it has changed to the #Madrid city hall! P.s - there is a charming little terrace bar in the palace with an amazing view of the city!
