It is me again!

So, if I remember correctly, Sparkplug fused with his truck when the whole cyberforming happened, which means he was probably out for work, right? Like, he was on his way to tow a car when suddenly - BOOM! And he wakes up and is now in the middle of a twisted New York, probably alone, surrounded by statues and failed conversions and freaking out about becoming a giant alien robot. Right?

I wonder how he handled the whole thing? You did tell us some Autobot shot at him later on, since Sparkplug has red optics, so that happened, but I am curious about the before. Raoul had Tracks with him but poor Spakplug probably had no one when it all went down.

Ya, Sparkplug was alone when it happened, picking up a car to bring back to the shop. No one there to help him, just confused in a robot body, he could hardly control, trying his best to get back to the garage and not focus on the existential dread of it all. His truck had a radio he could call base with, but now he is in the truck and he doesn't know how to use comms.

And the first time he sees some familiar silhouette, he gets shot by Sideswipe because, well, red optics, he's lucky Ratchet recognizes his voice.

Sparkplug is stuck in the denial phase for a while that there will be a way to go back to normal, there will be a way to fix this. Not because he isn't able to piece together, ya, this probably not going back to normal, but because he's not sure he can emotionally deal with that reality.

Feel like sparkplug denial and forced optimism about this all being fixable gets on Raoul's nerves because he used to Mr. Witwicky being relatively grounded and someone he could turn to, and now sparkplug is going full denial mode before he realizes, oh, this isn't just sparkplug being stubborn, this is a spike thing.

He comes off with the energy that he's one of the ones adjusting best at first, but really, no, he's not. He's just trying to hold himself together, but he does finally get over the denial thing. Eventually, he has to actually start dealing with all of this.

Query: could Cyberformation also result in a quadrupedal robot mode? One where the robot walks around on all fours? Take Crazybolt from Transformers RID 2015 for instance. He walks around on all fours.

Can the resulting Cybertronian formed from a person being Cyberformed look similar to the picture of Crazybolt you’re seeing here in your Transformers Synergize universe in terms of being quadrupedal and still retaining the mind they had as a human? Crazybolt turns into a muscle car with a supercharger on its hood, by the way. I wanna know if a successful Cyberformation doesn’t always result in a humanoid robot mode.

SYNERGIZED AND CYBERFORMED HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH EACHOTHER.

Just because I made both doesn't mean they're connected in any way. I have several Transformers universes, each I try to give it's own style. Those cyber form kind of crosses over with my G1 Style, but that's because it's a G1 au. Both synergized and cyberformed do have lore that makes cybertonians less human, but synergized focused on the alien side, while cyberformed focuses on the robot and computer side, their lore is very, very different.

But ya don't worry, I'm not mad or upset, just if the cyberformed au was a part of synergized, I tag it synergized and post it on that blog.

But on the human side of getting a feral form, I could see someone keeping their mind, or at least a certain level of intelligence, in a failed spark conversion. Would it be common? Absolutely not, but I could see it happening.

Any animals get any of the 3 varients of cyberformed?

Tbh I kinda just want to see body horror mechapigeons or contemplate a big dog that thinks it's a lap dog but it's now a car.

Also, have you read So you want to be a Wizard? Because cyberformed reminds me of the parallel earth from the book with the hostile vehicles.

Yes, animals can get Cyberformed, and it follows the same rules as humans, though a smaller animal can be successfully cyberformed with smaller mechanical devices. Various types of animals got cyberformed, but it was primarily rats and pigeons because NewYork

I never read "want to be a wizard," but some of this au is vaguely inspired by the book Blood Music, which I was reading when I came up with the au, mostly imagery of warping New York, but in the book, it's flesh instead of metal. The mechanisms of how both things happen are completely different. The book gave very vivid descriptions of surreal living Eldritch landscapes that I used as inspiration for my own stuff.
