“I’m more worried about you,” she sighed. “I don’t suppose you’ll let me run you a bath with salts and let me sit bath side? It’ll help with the sore muscles and the wounds a little.”

"Jemma...I kinda..". The computer screen had a large smoking hole in it "Uhh, yeah"
@cyberneticwinter
Jemma stared at the monitor and then to him, “Umm, very easy to replace but what exactly was it showing that deserved to be….destroyed?”
Bucky nuzzled his face into Steves neck. The former soldier was warmer than normal, yet was shivering a bit.
Steve thought for a moment that Bucky was merely being affectionate, but then realized something was off. "Hey, you alright?" he asked softly. He turned to cup Bucky's cheek, frowning faintly. "You feel kinda warm, Buck. You coming down with something?"
Sixteen feet of pissed and a metal arm
If he'd been one to complain Steve would have given the techs and scientists an earful when they finally hauled him out of the ocean and stuck him in a tank. But that would require him letting them know he could speak and understand human language. The damn thing was too small for his sixteen foot frame, he barely had room to turn around and forget being able to comfortably stretch out. He was practically starving on the minuscule amounts of food they gave him and the healthy muscle he'd had had started to wither away, leaving his skin clinging closer to his bones. He'd have to escape soon or he'd be too weak to fight his way out and hunt down food. Thrashing in the dark water Steve sent a wave of water over the side of the tank and onto the floor in his frustration. @cyberneticwinter

“Uh, Alex...We have a situation.” She spoke into her comm as she stared in horror at the man who was actually frozen within a Cadmus lab that she and the DEO were raiding. “There’s..someone, he’s frozen.” She muttered in horror, “I’m getting him out.” She clicked off her comm, cutting off her sister’s protests before letting her heat vision shoot toward the ice, melting it.
Finally, the ice was a puddle at her feet and she lauched forward to catch the man as he fell. “Hey, I gotcha. C’mon, wake up..”
New Orders || Framework Fitz and the Winter Soldier
@cyberneticwinter
It seemed petty to bring the Winter Soldier out of hibernation to send him to hunt down and kill the girl who murdered his father. Ophelia would say he was being too emotional, his father would say he needed to focus his temper into a laser cutter instead of a volcanic explosion, but he was the damn acting Head of Hydra right now, his number two had turned traitor on them, and his greatest confidante had been killed brutally while Fitz listened. It was the only time Alistair Fitz had told his son he loved him.
Besides, they had bigger fish to fry. That teacher? He seemed to be taking the place of the Patriot in the subversive group arrogantly calling themselves the Resistance. Cells all over the world were attacking, rioting on Hydra bases. They had to cut off the head, and who better than the Winter Soldier?
The ritualistic words were uttered by the lead scientist in charge of the Soldier, turning a confused man into a blank weapon, and Fitz thought he may want to commit them to memory himself in case the conditioning slipped as it had in the case of Project Blizzard. “Can you hear me, Soldier?”

Dorian wandered the streets of New York, glancing into shop windows as he went. He stopped in front of a clothing shop, eyeing an outfit on a mannequin in the window wistfully. He knew he couldn’t afford that outfit just now, but perhaps someday soon he could. After staring for another moment, he sighed and turned to make his way farther down the street. He wasn’t sure what he was looking for, but he did enjoy people watching and window shopping.
The next day, Bucky arrived back at her apartment with Steve. All he had was a backpack that was very full looking. He wore a baseball cap, jeans, white tee-shirt, sneakers and a black leather coat. He knocked on the door, Steve standing beside him.
“It’s open!” Toni called. She was trying to finish getting her guest room ready for Bucky to use.
