My fetishes could never include robots for the degree to which they are hewn / derived of sapience and capable of perverting nature. I hardly think people should be, but at least natalism is not necessarily artificed. An consciously engineered conception of coupling / reproduction (assembly), that an individual would actually indulge in despite probable means of rewriting? base and evil. If the robot partner was aware of this and the horrible impact their indefinite lifespan could have, and (if natalist) consideration of a child was after it became apparent they were going to die and there was like a "mostly random" preset / configuration for the childs build, then maybe consideration alone could begin. the whole wonder of life is that which is arbitrary or has the illusion of being unique, and making due with or adjusting that which is alotted. Tangentially related, transhumanism could only be a disaster. Avg lifetime is not necessarily possible lifespan, and lifespan extension is mostly misinterpretation of averages. uber healthy fitness folks are still known to die suddenly from old age. It is audacity to directly involve oneself in span. this is not even broaching the nature / properties of transhuman consciousness. to have fads outpace, exploit, and psyop biased out of touch 200 year olds with accrued wealth and quite literally / directly impact how they process information? id rather not see the effects on nature, society, or ethics. At least with regards to this, i fail to see an acceptable counterbalance, esp with how wabi-sabi and amor fati might be denigrated.
