Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag [ten] friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them.
ok I'll try to do this but HONESTLY I haven't read a lot of book in my life, much less remember them I'm sorry :/ I'll do as much as I can but not sure I can get to 10
The amulet of Samarkand - the first "big" book I've ever read to the end. It's about wizards summoning demons to do their bidding, and you follow this demon called bartimaeus who's funny as hell and I loved him a bunch.
The Naruto books - I have from 1 to 63 and I cherish them a lot. I would always take one to school to read in the bus. They might not be great work of literature but they keep me entertained nonetheless.
Antigone - I saw an extract of the play and decided to read the whole thing after. It's a great play and it was just as good to read it.
Incendie - That one's in french, it means fire. It's about two twins who try to find their lost father and brother in middle east after their mother dies. That's a play too and they made a movie out of it. It's heart wrenching.
There is one book I read when I was 12. I can't for the life of me remember the title which makes me very sad because I would read it again. It's about two group of people (countries maybe or tribe or clans) who are at war in medieval times. You follow a warrior from one group and the chief's daughter from the other group. You see the warrior burn down villages, kill people and see his comrades rape their enemies' women. And you see the other side's chief's daughter live war from her point of view, until the two meet and fall in love, not knowing who the other one is. In other words, it's like Romeo and Juliet but not with overreacting teenagers. I was much too young to read what was in that book XD But I LOVED it so much. It was the first book I've ever read that was not "for kids". It was a revelation. I really wish I could find it again... but I probably never will...
And I'll stop there because I honestly can't think of any other one I'm sorry :/ So for the tags I'll tag only 5 people since I only named 5 books...
