If you want an even politer way to say this buddy, you could even be nice enough to say "hey I like your design! But don't you think he'd look better with his tails? Like you could do this instead!" Or "Genuinely, just asking, why didn't you include his tails? They're such a genuine part of him, I mean it's in his name!"
I guess I should expect less from a rando on the Internet who's probably too young or too old to really know what manners are! But since you asked SO NICELY:
I went with the decision not to give him the tails because I couldn't decide where they'd fit without clashing with or possibly losing the balance of the design. So I melded them in with the back legs instead! No, they're not tails themselves, but by doing this, I'm not letting his large tails take away from everything else. It works while he's a fox, I couldn't make it work while he was a cybug. I'd also like to think in this AU it would make tails's motivation to stay a cybug much stronger, as he'd lose the one thing he was constantly picked on for AND still gets to be stronger now! He'd feel useful in this form! Also I still implemented them slightly, but just slightly through the tails on the cybug. (I'm not actually sure what they're called but they remind me of crickets)
