Dreamstate and Stolas merged. His name is Dreamless (which is hilarious because Dreamstate still would have been more fitting.)

But anyway, I was mostly trying a new art style, sort of inspired by an artist we met long ago that, while we're sad we no longer speak to them, after how one of our alters acted towards them I don't blame them in the slightest. I still found their art style to be rather inspiring and wanted to give the thicker lines a go! I also took a lot of extra time trying to color the lines in just the right way. I'm very very proud of this piece and Dreamless certainly feels, looks and acts a lot softer and more welcoming that Dreamstate ever did.

I think I started getting good at art the day I stopped being afraid to ruin it. Once you learn to trust the process, it gets a million times easier

It doesn't have to look good right away, just enjoy the journey.

Ohhhh my pc was lagging so horribly with the multitude of layers and colors and fades this took. But the end result was so worth it and I was very happy to work with this client!

New devastating Edgar art for you all! I had SO much fun making this, and I hope you all enjoy.

This is the scene where he murders his mentor, with the letter opener pictured on the floor there. I really wanted to show the tension in the scene, with his hand not quite touching the canvas yet (to put blood on it.) I also really enjoyed putting the mentor’s lifeless hand in the blurry foreground. He’s making a self portrait….
