One ‘out there’ trend I’ve dived right in to this season is the graphic liner trend. Of course this can be done with the usual black eyeliner but I wanted to change things up a bit. I’ve been so inspired by the eye looks at the Dior shows and especially with their Dior Show On Stage make up campaign featuring Bella Hadid sporting various graphic liner looks. Rochas and Self Portrait also sent their models down the run way with graphic liner looks and so I got experimenting.
I didn’t know if this trend was going to suit me or if I’d even be able to pull it off as I am by no means a make up artist. So I started off easy and cheap with a few of the NYX Vivid Brights liners in the colours ‘vivid petal’, a neon pink and ‘vivid blossom’, a bright violet colour. I absolute loved wearing these, whether I did a simple classic winged look or experimented with angled lines and small triangles. Next I wanted to try a white liner so again I started cheap with Collection Fast Stroke liner in ‘white’. Although the product itself is hard to use and dries too fast, creating more of a tipp-ex look, the white liner looked cool. So finally I decided to upgrade and bought the white liner from the Dior collection in ‘Matte White’. Of course, this product is much easier to use in a felt tip pen form and the formula is way better. I love creating new looks with it, here in these photos though I’ve just done a simple wing to show you a more subtle look. Let me know if you’ll be trying this trend?!
