#4 – AzMarie’s Very.com Shot

AzMarie was a fascinating ANTM contestant. She was clearly a natural model, with such a defined brand. A brand that was never going to evolve well on ANTM. This was the shining moment for me. A beautiful, casual photo, that was clearly a success because she was in charge. From head to toe AzMarie is just rocking her style. The tattoos, the colour combinations. Everything is killer.

#1 – Laura’s Silkworm Shot

Laura nailed every aspect of this photo. She created such fluid, intricate angles with her body. It gave the dress such a beautiful drape, made it look so expensive. The face too is just flawless. The slightly parted lips, the almost-sleazy eyes, the extended neck. It is the perfect balance between sex, and fashion, that very few models seem to balance so well. It was easily one of the most pleasant surprises for me this cycle, given how little I actually remembered it.

#2 – Kyle’s Maple Syrup Shot

Piercing eye contact can really make a photo. It solidifies this shot as one of the best of the cycle. Kyle may not be doing much, but I will argue this case again. Kyle proved in other photos she was an adept, and confident model, so this shot being simple doesn’t detract from her past performances. Sometimes going simple is far more striking, and for this shot that works. She doesn’t need to do much when soaked in maple syrup, wearing maple leaves. The photo works for itself. Plus, how can someone now be in awe with how stunning Kyle looks here. Her eyes are mesmerising, truly piercing.

#3 – Kyle’s Very.com Shot

Kyle killed this photoshoot. This photo is the perfect editorial shot. She made the clothes and herself both look great. The jump was perfect. Nothing bar the hair tells us she is jumping, she was in absolute control of every aspect of her body. There are no flailing limbs, or stunned faces. For someone to do that in week 2 is insanely impressive. It shows she just gets how things work.

#5 – Annaliese’s Hello Kitty Shot

I am still in love with how perfect this shot is. The delicate balance is stunning, awe inspiring. Every detail is perfect. The tip, the grasp of the hat, the drop of the other arm. She has shown all aspects of the outfit: the sleeves, the hat, the bodice. This was proof Annaliese was growing as a model. She may not have been a contender at the start, but this was the part she proved she was a fighter.

#6 – Kyle’s Car Shot

Kyle just owned this photoshoot. Beautiful gowns normally mean for great photoshoots, but Kyle was the lone standout this week. She just hit every mark. Her pose is perfect, her legs look flawlessly long. The dress drapes beautifully, and she has sold the hell out of it. Kyle may be a pretty girl, but she definitely does not just rely on that.

#7 – Laura’s Maple Syrup Shot

As much as the judges seemed to be raving about her from week 1, this was the beginning of Laura’s escalation for me. Laura kicked this photoshoot out of the park, the pose is perfection. Her expression is extravagant, but somehow still shows great restraint. The beauty shot is flawless too, I love the seductive glare to her eyes, and the raised eyebrow. It is all a perfect balance.

#8 – Laura’s Perfume Shot

Another fantastic shot under Laura’s belt, she really nailed those last few weeks. This isn’t your typical perfume ad, it has an edge. Her face is absolutely magnificent here, one of the strongest close ups of the cycle in my opinion. There is an almost alien-like quality to the photograph. Plus, of the three girls I definitely think she worked the dress the best. This could easily be an ad for the dress as well.
