🙆Part2🙆 Now I'm NOT speaking of perfection. If Jesus desired perfection trust me.. I wouldn't even be here right now. I'm an imperfect, broken sinner who is trying her best to follow, obey and love Jesus with all her heart. But I do get distracted, I do sometimes put other things first (like TV and food) before Jesus. I mess up a lot of times, but Jesus promises (and Jesus ALWAYS ALWAYS fulfills His promises) that when we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us. He knows that we are going to mess up, because He didn't design and therefore expect us to be perfect robots. 🤖 But He also knows our hearts. He knows when we are actually trying our best to love, obey, seek and serve Him with all of our hearts and strength. But He also knows when we are trying to do that to receive temporary forgiveness and then sin again the next day. He knows. "But I, the LORD, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.” Jeremiah 17:10 Be transparent with Him. He already knows what's going on in your secret heart and mind. And He's always ready and willing to help you with whatever you're struggling with. No matter how dark, shameful, irreversible you think your struggle is.. Jesus is the only One who can offer true healing, true freedom from ANY bondage. Come to Him today and taste His goodness kindness, patience, faithfulness, gentleness, grace, joy, love and almighty power as He sets you free. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. " John 8:36 I believe that we're in the last miles of our race here in earth, don't give up. Don't go astray. "DNF" aka did not finish. Every athlete hates this. Months and months of training and not finishing.. It's every athlete's nightmare. Imagine running a marathon. That's 26.2 miles continously. I wish that it was broken down into 3 pieces..10 mile on day 1 another 10 on day 2 and the last 6.2 on day 3..but unfortunately that's not how it works. That would be considered a "DNF". How are you running your spiritual race? Are you living like the world one day and then living for Jesus the other day? Unfortunately that will be a "DNF" when you will see Jesus face to face. Jesus says in Revelation 3:16:"But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!"  As true followers of Jesus Christ, we cannot have 2 masters. We cannot be half in and half out. We cannot live like the world one day, then live for Jesus another day. That just doesn't work. There are at least 39 verses about wholeheartedness and this one in particular:"Love the Lord with ALL of your heart, ALL of your soul, ALL of your mind and ALL of your strength" is mentioned numerous times. #Hashtag blessed# When you think of the word blessed, what comes to mind? When you see #blessed, what do you see? Basically exotic cars, mansions, vacations, designer bags, diamonds..all the things of this world. Yes those are blessings and they ALL are a gift from God. But what does true blessing actually look like? A true blessing is one that can never perish, that can never be taken away, that can never be lost. Wanna know what it is? Being a child of the One true living God: Jesus Christ. There's no greater blessing than that. Why? 🌝Lasts forever  🌝Loved unconditionally & eternally 🌝Having unshakable joy & hope bc we know that we have the ultimate & final victory 🌝Life filled with enormous purpose  🌝Free from all of our sins and mistakes. Every single one of them. No more shame or guilt. Our pasts have been erased for good.  🌝Known, desired, loved & set apart by the King of Kings! 🌝Being eternally united with your perfect Heavenly Father one day, where there will be no more tears, sorrow, pain, diseases, loneliness, sufferings or anything evil. None. Aren't those blessings soooo much better, so much more fulfilling and so much more rewarding than ANY of the "#blessings" this world offer? Have you been injured? Not fun! I really really can not can NOT stand injuries. At the same time, I'm grateful for them. Huh? Let me explain.  Usually injuries occur where you're the weakest. While you're injured, you're supposed to strengthen that muscle to make it heal faster. Honestly, I'm lazy to stretch and do strengthening exercises, but injuries force me to NOT be lazy about it and actually do them. 😅 After I'm healed, I actually become stronger. Where are you the weakest spiritually? Honestly when God told me to work on my many flaws and weaknesses, I was like "Maybe later God? Not right now." But the more I delayed it, the more distant I felt with God. The more broken, the more troubled, the more heavy my heart became. It's like carrying a big heavy burden on your shoulders. Why do we do that to ourselves? Jesus already died for that. For whatever we're struggling with. For whatever we're addicted to. For whatever burdens our soul. It is finished. All we have to do is to come humbly before Him and ask Him to help us. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Jesus can do the impossible. His name is above all other names. Nothing absolutely nothing is too hard for Him. So today, choose to lay down all your burdens down at His feet and be amazed at how light and at peace you will be.  “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Why isn't God doing something about all this evil? He did. He created YOU. You are supposed to be the hands and feet of Jesus. You are supposed to be the light of the world. God didn't save you and me to live a happy go lucky selfish life while ignoring the fact that still today over 1 million children are being sex trafficked each year, 50 million babies are aborted each year, 9 million people are dying of starvation each year, 785 million people don't have access to clean water. This life is NOT about me. This life is NOT about you. This life is about being the hands and feet of Jesus by helping those in need, by speaking up for the voiceless and to bring glory to His name.  He created you with a purpose. A purpose to make this world a better place. A purpose to make a difference. A purpose to bring His light and His hope to others. A purpose to transform lives.  Just as Jesus came to serve and NOT to be served, we all should serve others. He called us to do so. No, this earth will never be perfect and be without any evil (that's reserved for Heaven), but that doesn't mean that we should sit back, watch and do nothing about it. Instead of pointing fingers, complaining and blaming God, let's DO something about it. We are ALL called to DO something about the injustices of this world. 🙋‍♀️Give to a charity  🙅No money?  🙋‍♀️Educate yourself and speak up for the voiceless  🙅No desire?  🙋‍♀️Volunteer 🙅No time?  🙋‍♀️Pray, pray, pray. When I first read Jesus saying in Matthew 16:24 that if we want to be His follower, we must deny ourselves, I gotta be honest.. I did not like it at all. What do you mean Jesus? Denying myself? I thought You love me, why then would I need to deny myself? Denying ourselves is NOT hating yourself (that's what I initially thought), but to nail our sinful desires and nature to the cross and leave them there. Anything that is not pleasing and honoring God, we have to overcome it. If not, then Jesus says that we are not worthy of Him. We are not truly His children. 🤯 What is not pleasing to God? Obviously evil acts like murder, rape, theft, etc. is a no brainer. But did you know that in God's eyes hate is the same as murder? (1 John 3:15). Did you know God hates pride, arrogance and perverse speech (Proverbs 8:13)? Did you know that when you have unforgiveness towards ANYONE then God will not forgive you either (Matthew 6:14-15)? Did you know that idolaters, sexually immorals, drunkards, the adulterers, the greedy will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)? Gossip, jealousy, arrogance are also hindering you from God. What?? Yea, I was surprised and humbled too. I wasn't as good as I thought I was. That's why I, that's why you need Jesus so desperately. Because it's through the blood of Jesus Christ that all of your sins are covered. All of them! Meaning that God does not see anything bad in you. Through Jesus's blood, God sees you as holy, blameless and pure. However, a relationship goes both ways. To make God's promises active, we have to do our part. We cannot follow the world. We cannot follow our sinful desires. We cannot bow down to idols. And still be His child. We're all serving something or someone. Either we serve sin, which leads to eternal wrath and death. Or we serve God which leads to eternal freedom and life. Choose today whom you serve. "You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? Have you ever gotten your wisdom teeth extracted? Ouch right? I got 4 of mine extracted couple years ago and it hurts so bad it's not even funny! Because my chewing capabilities were so weak (almost non existent), I couldn't eat any solid food. I only could "eat" wabbly, liquid, soft foods like pudding and soups. Thank God I don't have to do that ever again! When we first accept Jesus, we're baby Christians. Our understanding & knowledge of and faith in Jesus is not as solid yet. "I fed you with milk, not solid food for you are not ready for it." 1 Corinthians 3:2 As we mature more and more in our faith, we should be able to process solid and tough things that God convicts and commands us to do. We (and other people) should see the change in us. Burying our old lives and sins away and resurrecting as a new creation in Christ. If we are unchanged. If we are still deliberately choosing to sin even though we have received the truth, then "there's only terrible expectation of God's judgment and raging fire that will consume his enemies." Hebrews 10:26-27 Let's get uncomfortable. Ask God what is not pleasing to Him. Ask for The Holy Spirit to empower you to change that habit, sin or lifestyle. Let's grow into the person God made you to be. Then you can be truly the salt and light of the earth to transform hearts and lives. Then God will use you for His kingdom to bring glory to His name. 🚲Part 2🚲 Every good thing comes from our Heavenly Father. ALL. The air you breathe, the food you eat, the water you drink, the friendship, laughter, sunshine, protection, freedom and anything and everything else you enjoy. So if you are separated from God for eternity, that all will be gone forever. Meaning, you can't breathe, you'll starve, you'll thirst, you'll be alone, you'll be chained, tortured and can feel every inch of the pain, you can't see (because there's no light), you'll burn in flames but can never ever die and escape the pain...and that's for forever! For eternity! Once you're in hell, there's no escape. So I pray and urgently plead that you will NOT choose this route. I tell you this NOT to scare you, but because I love you all. I don't want anyone to end up there. It gives me chills just thinking about it. Please, please really really ask God to speak truth into your heart. Ask Him with faith to reveal Himself to you today.
