There was a man at my former church who gave up his career to serve in full time ministry. Back then I thought "What? Why? This guy is a fool." Now I get it. I fully comprehend it and applaud him for his humility and selflessness to pursue something bigger than his own life and desires. Isn't saving souls for eternity far far more important..far far more valuable than a temporary career, bank account, titles, prestige, and anything and everything of this world that will one day pass away?  My heart weeps. There are past regrets where I could have led others to Jesus, but my love for this world got in the way. I thought of me first. My wants. My career. My bank account. My image of what others think of me. But those things are nothing! Nothing compared to saving souls and gaining eternal brothers and sisters in heaven. My heart is shaken with devastation for the day when Jesus Christ returns..there are still so so many who do not know Jesus yet. And once Jesus returns..that's it guys! Oh man! I don't know.. I feel so burdened. So heavy. So please if you're a Jesus follower, make it a mandatory daily and primary goal to tell others about Jesus. If every believer did this, this world would look a lot more different AND heaven would be more crowded. Please if you do not know Jesus yet, get to know Him today. I truly believe that we are living in the last days and there's not much time left. This is not a time to be lukewarm. This is not the time to be nonchalant. This is not the time to play games with God. Grace vs faith vs works (1/2) "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.  For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever." 1 John 2:15-17 One of the most confusing debates is grace vs faith vs works. Ephesians 2:8 says that it is by grace through faith that we are saved, but James 2:26 says that faith without works is dead. Huh? Wait..I thought we're saved by grace not works? Yes we are saved by grace and we can never ever earn our salvation in Jesus Christ. However, once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior you are required to be different from the world. You are required to die to yourself so that Christ can live in and through you.  Why did Jesus die to save you? Once you're saved, why didn't He just take you up with Him to heaven? Because you have a purpose. A purpose to tell everyone of God's unfailing love and amazing grace. A purpose to make disciples of all nations. A purpose to save souls from God's wrath. Jesus didn't die for us so that we live our own selfish lives. Jesus didn't save us to be lukewarm Christians. Jesus requires us to deny ourselves and pick up our cross daily. Are you willing to give up the things of this world for Jesus? Wrong heart (2/2) 💔Let down your pride and anger. This is what Jesus told me: Aggie, wouldn't it bring more glory to Me if even the abortionists will turn their hearts to Me and be welcomed into the eternal family of Mine? Isn't that who I died for too? Isn't that My greatest desire for EVERYONE to be saved? Shouldn't that be your greatest desire too? Yea you're right Aggie, they don't deserve my grace, forgiveness, love and kindness but neither did you. Or did you forget from what I've rescued you from? Did you forget how far you were from me? Basically He told me to check AND change my heart. Whatever cause you are fighting for, don't let that become your idol. Be rooted in Jesus first so that you are doing it with the right heart. With Jesus's heart. Love and pray for your enemies even if your feelings tell you otherwise. Picture Jesus on the cross, whispering in His last breaths "Forgive them for they do not know what they are doing." Remind yourself why and who the cross was for. Reflect on how far Jesus has redeemed you too when you least deserve it. Let's share Jesus's unending grace, unshakable love, eternal hope with everyone. Wrong heart (1/2) When I first discovered how a baby was aborted, I got so so angry. I mean, how can you cut and rip off the baby's body into pieces so brutally? You know..they can feel every single pain..ah..thinking about it just devastates me. I got so mad that I got absorbed with everything against abortion. Most of my time was spent on researching abortion facts and trying to expose the evilness of abortion. I got so absorbed and distracted that I forgot about Jesus. I didn't have the time nor desire to spend time with Him. Eventually I got drained and overwhelmed with anger, bitterness and sorrow. I knew I couldn't go on like this. So for 40 days I took a social media and anything about abortion fast and spent more of my time with Jesus. During that time, He comforted my weary heart AND lovingly confronted me that I was doing it all with the wrong heart. 💔I put that before Jesus. Although I had good intentions to help stop abortion, exposing it consumed my time and heart. It became my idol. 💔I wasn't rooted. I let my feelings be my god.  Because I didn't spend time with Jesus, my mind was weak and my heart was deceptive. The enemy loves to attack you and is most effective at it when you aren't grounded in Him. I let my emotions of anger, bitterness and pride rule over my heart, where Jesus commands us to love and pray for our enemies. In fact Jesus said hating someone is equivalent to being a murderer and therefore eternal life is not in that person. Yikes! As soon as He showed me the ugliness of my heart, I repented. Thank you Jesus for patiently confronting me, because nothing is worth loosing my salvation over!
